I've seen the adds for the first manned launch on the Falcon 9 from US soil on Discovery next Wednesday.

Is it using the Dragon Capsule, or another of the proposed manned launch systems?

Well launch is scrubbed due to weather, not terribly surprised.

Next try Saturday.

Damnit! Stupid weather, why does always sabotage things...?
Weather delays are a regular issue in this sort of situation.

With human lives at stake, they are not taking unnecessary chances.

As others are saying "People won't remember a delay, they will remember a disaster."

At least we learned something from Challenger

The early shuttle program was definitely full of some shady decisions to boost the launch rate

Well, at nasa.gov you can watch the livestream of today's launch attempt. It's looking good so far in terms of weather!
