Five minutes of hate news

Twitter files were WAYYYYYYYYYYY more modern than the chronology of corporations fucking over the internet.
r/fatpeoplehate being banned was the major start of reddit getting shat up, and that was back in 2015.
Google+ was invented back in 2011, and started the major shitting up of Youtube and google.
Were these both due to the government? Probably a little bit, but also majorly just because CEO's are giant assholes and nepotist tards.
Frankly the astroturfing campaigns and psyops mostly started post-2016, before that date it was primarily paid shills for corporations and products.
After Trump got elected and boomers un government realized that social media is way more powerful than they thought, the policing/censorship on social media really blew up.

The narrative went from "free speech is fine," to "we must stop this from happening again."

I'm not saying none happened before then..but that's when it really took off.

Yep, agreed. There was a dramatic mindset shift post-2016.

I can't actually remember "ITS A PRIVATE COMPANY BIGOT! CENSORSHIP IS OKAY!" pre-2016.

It was very much there prior to 2016.
There was raging debate over the massive abuse taken by "private businesses"
XKCD in April 18th 2014 weighed in on with it
> Right to free speech only protects you from govt. It does not mean people have to put up with your bullshit
> If you get deplatformed it is because you deserve it. people are showing you the door for being an awful person.

This was way late into the debate and debacle.

Google motto on founding was "don't be evil" from the day they were founded in 1998.
by that they meant "don't be conservative". The fact that they view conservatives as EVIL, as literal Demons, is a big problem. They dehumanize anyone who disagrees with their libtard bullshit.

Oh god that comic sucks ass. I didn't know it was from 2014. And to be frank I think it was mostly posted 2016+
Also 'don't be evil' was removed as their motto post 2016. D;

Yea, it is easy to feel that way since they stopped trying to be subtle about it.

Yea, they replaced it with "do the right thing" (that being censoring political opponents).
It is no longer dehumanizing their political opponents.
While still calling for sweeping censorship.

I am not worried. Sooner or later, the gentlemen in San Francisco and NYC will realize that the customers they cater to the most want them dead or bankrupt. And then, just like Musk did, they will start fighting back.

And then it's over. One way or another.

People are so mentally cucked they will do this with smile on their face

Netherlands this time, not the Cuckistan as mistakenly thought at first.

Those people literally all have smiles on their face.

The left really fucking is a death cult, holy shit.

I always took the death cult stuff as hyperbole in the past but with MAID in Canada, and these people laughing and smiling about it and sharing memes.
We live in a sick and fucked up world, and I find myself even as an atheist thinking maybe we should bring God back. Life has no value to these people. This is sick.

But hey, there's one less she/they to pollute society I guess lol

"It's astonishing how, like, the Western journalists keep siding with criminals at every opportunity they have, even when they're in another country; like, I genuinely do not understand it"

They side with criminals, because they are criminals; just higher class ones.
Thanks in minimal part to celebrities in the US and journous I got a crook running my mother's country. I hope Buyekele sets an example beyond Ortega, Lula, Maduro and Chavez and Morales.

This is where the rejection of God always ultimately leads. Every stridently atheist nation in the 20th century has ended slaughtering and oppressing their own people.

Every major cultural movement that does so, even if they don't gain governmental authority, ends up being self-destructive.

Are you familiar with what the final years of Nietsche's life were like?

No, this is where uprooting ethics leads. Your Magic Sky Daddy is not that special of one, most of the "stridently atheist nations" are clearly horrible distention of subsets of Christian ethics with the checks lost to obsessions. Which only happened because the Catholic Church insisted on tying the legitimacy of those ethics to the worldly institution, then happily got itself deeply entangled in the French government. So when the two persistently shat the bed for over a century...

Queue the French Revolution opening a box of horrors we have yet to see the bottom of. Rampaging materialists opened it, but it's the Catholic Church that made it by painstakingly eradicating all competition for moral legitimacy. Just as we blame Communism for the famines, I blame Catholicism for the ideological bloodshed that created those authoritarian states. Being catastrophically incapable of failing safely is a valid criticism of an ethical system.

My guy that shit happened over two centuries ago. Two. Centuries. It's not just over, it's literally ancient history. Give it up.

Today's moral decline in the west in general and the US in particular isn't caused by Frenchman getting guillotined.

Blaming people for what is done by other people who completely reject the foundation of ethical system is not a 'valid criticism,' it's incredibly irrational.

It's like blaming a car manufacturer for a crash, after the person who owned the car decided they could just remove half the connecting bolts from the car, and the brakes dropped off as a result. And even that is underselling it, because Christian morality is entirely based on the fact that man is made by and in the image of God, and this is what imbues man with inherent worth.

If you remove God from the picture, you have literally removed the foundation of the moral system, and the entire thing collapses.

Like the morality of atheistic cultures do.

You're trying to reason with someone who uses the term "Magic Sky Daddy". A complete waste of time, since intellectual honesty is by definition impossible for anyone with that attitude.

Nietzsche in his latter days, smearing his own shit on the walls, was more likely to be brought to reason than anyone who uses the term "Magic Sky Daddy".

I tend to consider that particular phrase as "the neckbeard's shibboleth". It marks out the opinion of anyone who uses it as completely unworthy of serious consideration.

I have no expectation of convincing Morphic Tide of anything, but this is a public forum, and as such, there is some utility in pointing out the flaws in his thinking for the audience.

If he happens to have a change of heart down the road, perhaps he'll remember the points made and come to a more rational perspective then; that'd be a nice bonus.
