No, there still are a number of people who come from families of strong service traditions, who still consider it worth joining to protect their nation from foreign enemies, even as there are so many domestic ones.
...A lot less of such people than before though.
Like I said, the ignorant. They think they're doing their nation a good service while it actively spouts slander and hatred towards themselves and their kin.
No different than a trained animal returning back to it's cage that it is blissfully unaware is it's prison.

Basically, I know a few examples of people I personally know.
His grandfather served, his dad served amd died doing what he loved, he served and retires this year. His younger brother still serves.
his family is a legacy family and he plans to contuinebit and to LEAVE a legacy on the army for his family.
plenty who are in the military also didnt have anyone who served and find it as a sense of pride for thenselves and thier family.

We still thank them for thier service.
Because one thing I will always love about the Southern US, is no matter what shit happens, since a vast majority served, they still give thanks to those who served.

Has it occurred to you what happens if the military actually does end up being comprised of nothing but idiots, leftists, and people who will 'just follow orders?'
Are you really going to spit on everyone who goes into the service, knowing that current leadership will constantly shit on them, but are willing to do it because they think the military being exclusively comprised of that kind of person would be a really bad thing?

Many russians made that mistake,pay for that with their lives,and soviets keep destroing what was left of their nation.
You know, the Black Panthers once actively encouraged (and might still) members to join the military so they would have a trained cadre for when the revolution came, and so they would have men on the inside when the race war began. The Scientologists did much the same but with Federal Law Enforcement befitting their interests as a cult primarily in internal security.
You'd think white racial nationalists or christian religious nationalists could manage to be at least as rational as the Black Panthers or Scientologists.
