so... just so we are clear. According to the girl's own story (if that news site did not falsify her quotes):

> a schoolboy sniffed her hair then grabbed her by the pussy
> she punched him and left. he did not pursue her.
> she reported him. the school started an investigation. the investigation was closed with "no evidence found"
> she was very upset to find out the next day that he was at school. She expected him to be expelled immediately based on her accusation alone, before they even investigated.
> she skipped a bunch of volleyball practice sessions so she was canned from the volleyball team for skipping
> she claimed the reason she skipped volleyball practice is due to her emotional trauma. But the school didn't buy it
> school allegedly started harassing them and suggesting they should leave to another school
> school tried to trick her mother into signing NDA & dismissal of all claims by falsely claiming it was the form used to withdraw from school

The only odd thing here is that the investigation was carried out by the school itself, they should have called the police and let the police investigate.

edit: wait, there was also the NDA thing. I forgot to mention it. added it above. it is super sus. If it happened that is. I am curious to know if the mother kept the form in question

Upset teens tend to not be paragons of adult maturity in how they handle a situation. Heck, a lot of adults also suck a "adulting". The girl's actions are about with what I'd expect from an upset teen.

Not calling the police is the school's first screwup. Effectively punishing the girl for making the accusation, pushing her family out of the school, and trying to trick the parents into an NDA, etc.

The school was trying to hush it up to keep egg off their face. Instead, we get this.

I expect better from a private school. Especially one affiliated with Christianity - Baptists in this case.

A lot of organizations are stupid and/or sus.
By doing internal investigation they open themselves up to liability.
It is now their fault.
furthermore, exacting punishment for sex crimes is not a school's job either.

but on top of that just from watching the video how do they know he cheated unless they somehow think doing host work is cheating but if that’s both their jobs. The double standards between men and women in these kind of cases always blows me away no matter how much it happens I know it’s trite but just switching the genders in the above case and the public have a completely different reaction

Well I think it's because there is a cultural difference between Japan and Western conservatives. We don't mind a Yandere that would kill us for cheating(because we think cheating is morally wrong so we would not do it) But for Japan cheating is not that big of a deal so killing someone over it shows you are insane, while in other cultures like traditional western or Islamic society death penalty for adultery is not something to balk at.

So a woman who kills a lover who shames her by cheating is not seen as a yandere to some people, yet in Japan that's flat out crazy where cheating is more common and both parties will sweep it under the rug.

In this case yes because they both work by selling themselves to the opposite sex(I know hostess aren't technically prostitutes, but does it still happen?) But is there any proof he cheated?

This however is bullshit any man that excuses female adultery deserves to be castrated and tortured. I am willing to compromise with women(because cheating does hurt no matter who it happens to) so the punishment for men and women cheating is the same. However practically it's not. When a woman cheats on a man it is a much much more severe violation, on multiple levels. So it would be just to have female cheating be punished harshly yet a man cheating be a mere fine in comparison.
