I get a laugh out of whenever transgenders beat the everloving crap out of women in sports too, the women asked for it. They made the bed and they may lay in it.

Funnier still, JKR was completely correct: women are being pushed out of women's spaces and events, including fucking prisons.

The City-County Council wants no-turn-on-red everywhere downtown because pedestrians keep getting killed by idiot drivers. The State Legislature said "LOL! NOPE! U can not haz! Not yours."
The area in question is approx. 4 sq. mi. where no-turn-on-red would add about 2-3 min. tops to a commute when there is no traffic.
But hey, country folk gotta stick it to the big-city libs every chance they can.

eh looking at how most pedestrians walk in my state I am reasonably sure they either are suicidal or believe they are immortal. I have seen Dumbass teens walk in front of a semi that had to slam their brakes to not kill them. it is funny to me that the newspaper also says republicans hate public transit, renter protections, and puppies. 10/10 article for the bias.This one is local and petty.

the bus line had a certain profitability requirement to be met if they wanted to expand it. on the one hand I get that they want public transit. on the other can't they just do it locally and not force people who don't live there to subsidize them?
the other 2 things require a subscription to read up on. I could see it going either way on if there were actual reasons for the bills to be shot down or if it was purely tribal.
renter protections are good to a degree but to reference my own state you can't kick people out for the winter so you often end up with people just not paying rent or utilities at all and then going to a new place every winter. usually while completely trashing the property since they never believe they will get the damage deposit back. add in that covid restrictions let some people go for more like 2 years with that behavior and damn do I pity those who were trying to rent to people.
puppy mills are bad but depending on the legislation I could easily see it as being hilariously over restrictive. I wouldn't really weigh in on it if I couldn't see the bill.

Seriously, how hard is it to not use your fucking phone while you're behind a wheel? What is wrong with these people! If they want to commit suicide by driving off a bridge because their eyes are too stuck on watching some whining bitch on TikTok, that's their prerogative, but in doing so they typically take other, innocent people out with them, too (such as crashing into other cars, children and mothers walking on the pavement, et cetera).
