The good guys everyone. The moral ubermensch that people should be looking up to. Not those evil, icky right wingers.
Transgender athlete Chelsea Wolfe wrote in a Facebook post that her goal is to Win in the Olympics.... "My goal is to win the Olympics so I can burn a US flag on the podium."
These comments were apparently made back in March of 2020 and when they resurfaced, they were deleted.

"Anyone who thinks that I don't care about the United States is sorely mistaken. One of the reasons why I work so hard to represent the United States in international competition is to show the world that this country has morals and values, that it's not all of the bad things that we're known for. I take a stand against fascism because I care about this country and I'm not going to let it fall into the hands of fascists after so many people have fought and sacrificed to prevent fascism from taking hold abroad. As a citizen who wants to be proud of my home country, I'm sure as hell not going to let it take hold here."

Seriously as an olympic athlet you are there representing your country if you have beef you talk about it before or after but you do not humilate your nation of orgin on stage.

Political protest has always been banned from the Olympics, though, with many host nations taking this as an opportunity for violent crackdowns against dissidents (most notably Mexico in '68), and even more peaceful countries have had some very, very ugly policies about getting rid of homeless people in the Olympics areas. Athletes have generally been punished for any overt political expression, although the severity of punishment is wildly inconsistent.
The Olympics have always tried to be "politically neutral" to the point of going out of their way to cater to tyrannical host nations like Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan (although the 1940 games were ultimately re-awarded to Finland and then cancelled altogether), yet at the same time take blatantly political actions when they feel like it, such as banning Germany, Romania, and Japan from the 1948 Olympics in retaliation for WWII, banning every Asian country that took part in the 1963 GANEFO international sports competition from the '64 Olympics, banning South Africa from 1964 through 1992 for apartheid policies.
Edit: Just to be clear, Mexico literally created a secret police unit just for the Olympics, which ultimately worked with the Mexican Army to
massacre hundreds of student protesters.

You mean how it seems everyone has taken Milley out of context? He is saying it isn't going to be implemented. He is saying they are going to look into it to see if they can understand what is going on, on the civilian side.
But obviously we want to make sure the military is full of leftists. Same with everything.
That is what a lot of you seem to want, "conservatives shouldn't do this or that," and that is what causes us to end up losing because we don't push back and try to make sure we are the majority in those things.
