I wish they could just admit that they are working for their own self-interest. The worst kind of activist is the type that is blatantly selfish, either on an individual or a "identity group" level, but pretends to be a universal humanitarian.
Which also happens to be why he or she thinks you should act in their favor but not the other way around.
That kid needed more drastic measures, if she wants to be a radfem she can try to be one in a nunnery in the middle of nowhere with no cell-phone or internet.
Yeah my unpopular opinion about gun control (among my peers here in Italy and Brazil that is) is that guns don't kill people because they are tools as much as a shovel (granted you can't go ballistic with one) and there's other tools which you can kill another person if you aren't right in the head.
That's what a lot of people don't understand.
People kill people, unless you get a Skynet Situation.
Having a gun may make it easier, such as squeezing a trigger than stabbing someone, for someone to work up the nerves to kill someone, but ultimately a person kills another person.
I could take a brick, put it in a long sock, and beat someone over the head with it until their skull caves in. Again, the sock and brick aren't at fault. I would be.
But no, guns kill people according to these people.

Except that I know for a fact my parents are autistic and they just... never got a diagnosis. I didn't get a diagnosis until recently because my childhood doctor said that I'd "grow out of it".

EU nations have quietly installed gigantic solid steel cylinders embedded deep into concrete in front of every walking street because so many muslim terrorists were using cars as a weapon of mass murder. easily ploughing through hundreds of people.
They don't report it in the news, in fact they literally throw you in prison for islamophobia if you mention it. Yet they quietly installed these guards nonetheless.
And in england, knife attacks claim more lives than gun attacks do in usa. (again, via muslim invaders)
Yeah: It's one of those things where a lot of people always had some degree of autism/on the Spectrum, but it's only recently that it's being mass diagnosed/identified. As another anti-example, this isn't a case like where the masses of the young, dumb, groomed, and mentally ill claim they have gender dysphoria when they don't.

The german man restraining the stabber in this video (and then getting arrested by the female cop) has just been sentences to several years in prison in germany.
For the crime of "islamophobic hatespeech"
The german govt preemptively issued a statement to the press saying it was unrelated to the incident in the video, but instead for a post he made on twitter years before this event happened.
Fucking disgusting.

They're probably not lying about that; but only because Muslims are considered a protected class above any sort of recrimination or reproach over there, and simply saying anything even remotely negative about any of them constitutes hate speech.
Which makes sense; after all, the ruling class in Europe all either want their people mindlessly subservient, or just straight up dead. So either way, they're not going to let anyone do anything to stop the Islamic extremists from doing what they were brought into Europe to do; cull the plebs and terrify them into submission.

On the one hand, yes. Even if the very idea of putting something in prison over a twatter post disgusts me. And knowing them his "islamophobia" is something like posting crime statistics rather than calling for genocide.
But considering nobody noticed or reported that post from years ago it makes the timing sus.
Their claim that the two incidents are unrelated is clearly a lie.
Their reaction to the incident was to comb through every single thing he ever said or done. Which led them to find the so called "offending" twitter post.
