once find the article in the newpaper, you need to check their citations. Then open those citations and find the original studies. And make sure to take a little look to make sure it doesn't make you look like a clown by contradicting you, or by being obviously fake. (ex: a study commissioned by a tobbacco company to study the effects of tobbacco )

if the newspaper article you found has no sources linked, then they are just propagandists making shit up.

Just about sums up my thoughts on the matter:



I view women who do porn the same way as I would view a schizophrenic man walking around punching himself in the head repeatedly.

If I were to say "this man is unwell. He needs to stop being allowed to walk around punching himself in the head" - the response to that would not be "stop infantilizing him!! he has agency!"

Why? Because we recognize that the schizophrenic man walking around punching himself in the head is not normal. He is doing something contrary to sanity. He is harming himself.

The question of his "autonomy" or "agency" or "consent" would be irrelevant. And trying to make it a broad gotcha or commentary about the "autonomy" of the *entire male sex* would be retarded because he is not an example of the average man.

Similarly, (non-trafficked) women who do porn are not the average woman.

They are not normal. They are an outlier demographic riddled with mental illness and that much is apparent simply in the fact they are harming and humiliating themselves publicly, repeatedly.

They're doing something contrary to sanity, thus demonstrating they have no capacity to make correct decisions in the first place. Their autonomy is irrelevant, and certainly isn't a reflection of women in general.

This even goes for those women who tell me how much they love doing porn. Literally no different to me than if the schizo man told me how much he loved punching himself in the head.

I think Rutte, especially on how he treated farmers and anti-shot protesters, can get fucked. How many more sacrifices that he will not do is he asking? There are have been numerous instances where people were told they "had to sacrifice" something and it wasn't a question : he can sacrifice his houses, his salary and his (likely) billionaire bank account. His country has lower home-ownerships than Italy and Romania.

That's not the attitude to do politics with.
He does make a good point, 2% is a bit low considering the situation.
He didn't say it *has* to be "regular Joes".
I for one can think of many things "we" could sacrifice.
We could sacrifice some net zero goals (Rutte himself to his credit hinted at that, accidentally or not, and Greta will be pissed, but that's a sacrifice i'm incredibly willing to make). We could sacrifice Abdul's refugee benefits (that is part of social security spending he mentioned, and if Abdul gets rowdy about it we could sacrifice Abdul too, Ukraine needs people to dig trenches after all). We could also sacrifice the funding for NGOs that brought Abdul to Europe. We could sacrifice paying farmers not to farm. We could even sacrifice the DEI propaganda budget!
By the time i'm done sacrificing we might be well over 3% defence spending. Damn, i should be the sacrificer general. I would do so much sacrificing...
