The guy is wearing a B hat which is a Boston hat, specifically used by the Boston Red Sox. The joke is that the trash are Red Sox fans, the eternal enemy of the Yankees.
Trust me I know, I grew up in Greater Boston. We're all quite happy to stay out of the shithole that is NYC. And that was before Corona.
How likely is it that NYC becomes the next Detroit? The, have sea-access and a lot of people, but you can't underestimate the demorats in their ability to rott away something.
The moment that new york cleaned itself up so many people started bitching about how they missed the old days, people were fucking upset that things were nice. Belive it or not but this is what new yorkers want.
I mean I at least give them credit for being honest about it, here in cali we talk about this utopian bullshit and end up in the exact same place as new york only with a look of total suprise on our faces because we are honestly that stupid.

With what? These are low-income families, they wouldn't have money to even hire lawyers, let alone buy them.
Some lawyer might see a big paycheck for taking the state to task for excluding a race.

As Urabrask pointed out, would it still have been a parody had it been black people instead of white on the posters? And it fairly accurately depicts what many on the Left think, so I have a difficult time seeing it as truly a parody.
