The WEF should never be in charge of historical sites.

First of all they do not have that skill set at all. Like fucking at all, the ability to steal money from the public purse does not make you good at anything historical.

It is not the only structure like this, not by a long shot, and I think there is an explanation to it that is less religious, and more...shelter-from-airblast/debris related.

From an engineering perspective, those pillars would be really good supports for the primitive equivalent of a fallout/blast shelter from something like repeated trips through the orbit of a fragmenting comet. Fragmenting comets that we travel through the tail of, around the end of October/early November is much of the world, when many cultures have days dedicated to worship of the dead/offerings to death gods.

But stories like this extend the pre-history of humanity into realms of conversation which can also impact current/future events, because asteroid/comet defense is no longer a theoretical.

Thanks to Musk, we no longer would even have the old 'massive effort for emergency launch like in Armageddon. We'd just have like 3 weeks with no new Starlink launches while they put together an intercept package out of whatever Falcon 9's are serviceable at that moment.

Frankly Musk is the hard counter to the WEF in so many ways.

Honestly, the concept of history in and of itself is a threat to their dreams of an authoritarian utopia. That's why they have to destroy the past; so that you'll never be exposed to the fact that the boot stomping on your face wasn't always there, and imagine that one day it might not be.
 
Biden is now nearly a coin flip to drop out according to gambling markets, which sucks for Trump. Trump is not a good candidate in the general, a large number of people are turned off by him. You can say he's a good president, but as a candidate he sucks. His only way to win was by beating up awful D candidates.

No, he isn't. The Dem's have a ton of candidates who could win. Biden's one of the ones that won't. You completely underestimate Indy dislike of Trump. They just dislike Biden more. Trump's approval/disapproval has stayed basically flat. Trump hasn't made gains over the past 4 years, Biden's been losing.

Well it is to late to change who is on the ballot in two key states.
And...who are they going to run? Harris? Who would probably get more black votes turned away due to her time as prosecutor
Newsome...they would have to get another VP...

No it isn't. The earliest state that hits is Ohio, and that happens August 8th, IIRC. You can absolutely swap someone out.

And currently, Harris is at a 32% chance to win the D nomination. And Harris is better for the Dems than Biden. Yes, she currently doesn't match up well, but she might do well enough with media help. Right now, Media got Biden through 3 years of presidency until he finally flopped (when they wanted him too, IMO). They can get Harris past the finish line.

The worst case scenario is Gavin Newsom. Because if he wins, he'll be horriffic.

Newsom would force a new VP pick.
Amd...Harris is hated. She literally lost in the initial primaries in 2019...she was that bad.

Sure. But she's more of a nothing than Trump is. Trump is hated by indies, they just don't respect Kamala at all. Faced with a choice between the two, I could see it going Kamala's way.

Newsom would get even more benefit from a VP pick, which sucks.

Personally, I think you overestimate the validity of polls. Remember when most of them said that Hillary was going to win the 2016 election in a landslide?

It's a classic example of how to get info from an unreliable source: compare polls to themselves. A single opinion poll means nothing. But if you take one every week for years, you can detect shifts in opinions, even if the actual number is very different. Trump's numbers has been basically flat. There's been no change.

Gavin Newsom is about a full point better than Biden. Harris is half a point better than Biden. Whitmer is about 2-2.5 points better than Biden.
