Don't get swept up by the first pretty face you see. Talk to them and get to know them and thier family. Bring up politics on a small scale. If she or her family is a hardcore leftist she's bound to show her hand sooner than later as they are just as bad and obnoxious as Uber born again Christians in regards to spouting opinions without properly reading a room.

Speak of christians you'll have better luck finding a good woman in a church or your workplace (if they don't mind co-workers dating each other) as opposed to a bar or nightclub.

I knew my wife as a friend for 3 years before we started to date. Dated for about 3 years before we were engaged. Long distance didn't help for some of that time. Been blessed to be married to her for 12 years now.

First Rule - you have to be unafraid to get hurt emotionally. You will likely pick the wrong lady once or twice. That's OK. Get out there and meet people. Doesn't even have to be with the intent of wedded bliss.

Second Rule - don't fall for just a pretty face. Get out and do different things together. Figure out what you're both passionate about (Clue: it doesn't have to be the same things, though that can help.)

Third Rule (and maybe the most important) - you must respect each other.

But their rare because right now we have a system that incentivizes bad behavior so you get more of it. Advice that works on a personal level is some times not fungable to a societial or even civilizational level.

So you have to get a woman who was raised in today's toxic environment and schools and somehow resisted the wickedness.
