Technology Elon Musk: The Worlds Richest Man

I think you misread my point. Both the fringes are unhappy with how twitter runs, therefore per Musk's logic it's running fine. The fact that twitter is biased and doesn't apply it's rules evenly isn't something he cites.
Eh, I get your point, but I think you are overestimating how unhappy the extreme Left is with Twitter compared to their opposites on the other end of the political spectrum.

The best way to destroy the extreme left is to simply make them follow their own rules.

The second best way to hurt them is to have a set of rules every one has to follow and then not give them preferential treatment.

The current system of rules for thee but not for me is where they thrive.

No, it's not. He already bought that. That cost him $3B. This is $25.5B in loans plus Elon promising he can pony up $21B (not sure if it counts the $3B).
So as I (And Dr. Doom) thought he will have to sell or use as collateral a decent amount of his Tesla stock.
Also, this might have been some form of bluff and he might have expected a poison pill and/or the Usual Suspects to raise a stink about it.
The guy is pretty good at gouging and manipulating public opinion and those in power, IMHO.

On a related note, it looks like he is going after Netflix next.

I am very skeptical and suspicious of the snake oil salesman, but still:

I doubt he is actually going to try to buy Netflix. Netflix worth about 5 times what he offered for Twitter, and is actually profitable.

I would advise everyone buy industrial grade ear protection to protect from the inevitable leftard reeeeeeeing.

I don't think he will, either.TBH this is just some loud activism on his part.
Maybe because he wants to deflect attention from some of his previous ventures, like crypto pump and dumps and some interesting call options trades, but hey, if he is trolling Woke Inc I am all for it.
Also, as I said, he doesn't really need to buy 51% to be a major nuisance and squeeze Netflops's board and CEO by the balls, maybe buys some stock and starts greenmailing them or goes into a proxy fight with them.

Also, Netflix stock lost 2/3 of its value since the start of the year.
If things continue in this direction they might be reasonably valued at some point next year, it just needs to lose another 25-50%, and it fixes its shit and starts paying a dividend. You know, actual RoE, not just sky high, baseless valuations.:devilish:
Big Cap stocks are starting to get shot though, so we gonna see lots of firesales soonish.

go woke, get broke.

there is no place for politics and that stuff in business (unless you're part of the military industrial complex, which means you're certainly going to Hell)

That is just my view, and I think he is just pumping and dumping and/or trying to lure the woke goons into a more complex trap.
Twitter is a bad bet given the situation, but it is good for one final pump and dump before the market bubble pops.
We're gonna find out if Musk is all talk but no action.
