I am worried that you are right, because a civil with all the death that comes with it is the optomistic outcome. If we don't have a civil war, the corruption cannot be cleansed.

Because of the way the United States is structured, the only way you can get a civil war is if a State starts one. The fifty states of the union divide us for both good and ill.
The corruption can be cleansed.

A civil war is not going to happen yet.
Societies give their political establishments a whole lot of lee way and a whole lot of chances to innact reforms apologize for misbeavor and chances to unfuck themselves and they are given plenty of warning.
People do not go to violence as their first course of action. They try to talk to their political leaders, they try to protest, they try lawsuits, all peaceful options are used first, and it takes decades of consistantly fucking up before you get civil war.
Ceasaer wasn't the figure that truely killed the republic, there were attempts at reform, attempts to prevent things from getting to bad. America still has time to correct course.
The problem is our political establishment is into strange cult bullshit and have decided to drink their own koolaid, and when a political establishement does that it is very hard to unfuck things.

In New Mexico, fr'ex, a small (<100 voters) precinct that's remote enough (20mi+ from border to nearest neighbouring in-person location) will do everythimg by mail.

they wont be as successful as last time, too many issues are affecting too many people, and there has been a grassroots effort to go after shit. There will be attempts but I think we will see more people being strait up sent to prison over it.
I wish I had your optimism. No, I believe the only way to prevent another stolen election is by arming up, storming the buildings where entry is refused, and do the count yourself.

That is pure cope and clinging to myth's about the ability of single people to shift social inertia in the modern era.
Trump tried to drain the swamp, but all he did was piss off the alligators, snakes, insects, and vultures that call it home.
The establishment and it's corruption are beyond the ability of any one person to fix, even POTUS, and I do not get how you can not understand that after watching what the GOP did to hinder Trump when they had all three branches in his first 2 years.
