I think the idea of political capital is a myth in the divided era we are in.
California is pretty much bankrupt there is no way we can pay back what we owe I mean seriously no way.
Our choices are Bailout, Bankruptcy or economic collapse.
The smart move is right after covid go screaming to the feds for a bailout expecially since biden owes us and Pelosi is kept in her position solely to do that but we haven't moved to do that out of stupid pride.
My guess we are going to hit the wall full speed and then the dems will be forced to go begging for help because thats the only way to prevent Cali from becoming a red state by then thought the bridges might be firmly burned though....

All sounds like perfectly normal, and unfortunate but meaningless human error. Not exactly the smoking gun for mass fraud.

I agree with @Megadeath. If they found no irregularities at all, that would be more suspicious than this. A minor screwup that gave Biden two dozen votes among hundreds of thousands is a nothingburger. Now if they come up with more errors where it gets into even 1% of the total, I'll start getting exciting, but not this.
You missed some important parts further down the article.
Mind pointing them out? Because this article seems like a nothingburger to me, and I'm one of the people who believes the election was almost certainly fraudulent.
While the others can be waved away as a mistake this one in particular.

Yes, but we need proof this happened at scale for it to mean anything.
And mind you, I'm not going to be surprised if it did, I believe the election was fraudulently stolen. However, this is not a smoking gun. It proves that a little bit of fraud, less than 100 votes happened.
We still need that smoking gun. We need proof it was more widespread than this.
This article is unfortunately pretty much a nothingburger, in the grand scheme of things.
I do find it interesting though, and it points us where to look for further fraud.

I assume they have a scanned and to be scanned pile, and just put some scanned ones straight back into the to be scanned pile, while talking to someone, daydreaming or checking out another volunteers ass or something. Sounds entirely plausible as an accident to me. If it's not, then why did thy use their wicked cheating ways to give Biden such a tiny number of votes?
If there is a true smoking gun in there for the audits to find, I don't think the public will know any time soon, if ever.
The DOJ is already going after the Arizona audit, and wants to go after the GA audit, and will probably go after any audit that happens.
Thus there will be a cloud of illegitimacy around all the audit results, at least in the eyes of the compliant media, and the audits that happened so far are in previously red areas; good luck trying to audit Detroit.
We'll see what happens in the midterms, but trust in the ballot box may not be restored by then, and the Dems may push through shit to make sure it's as easy as possible to cheat nation wide, all while control the media.
I recommend no one make any plans that operate on the assumption of political gains or victory in 2022, because if they get away with the 2020 election steal, they won't stop there.

The steal in 2020 was only possible because of loosened restrictions and newly introduced mail-in-voting due to corona, the Republican establishment being asleep at the wheel or actively preferring biden to Trump, the establishment and spook community uniting against him in an unprecedented way, and a decline in Trump's margins among White Men and the White Working Class over disappointment with his performance and the fact that he governed fairly close to a normal Republican.
Most of those factors will not occur in 2022, not necessarily because they've been solved, but they're not as relevant, and Republicans are additionally favored by the fact that there nearly always a backlash against any party that has the presidency and both houses of the legislature.
