This guy was out there changing voted for as little as 350 bucks all the way back in 2014! I wonder if it will make national news or if it will be ignored...

Because things weren't chaotic enough, there is now evidence the Democrats are honestly planning a complete shitshow if they don't get it their way.

This is the article they are talking about. The fact the NYT published this as a ending paragraph without ANYONE stopping and saying "wait do you guys realize how fucking serious this would be?" is baffling.

Breitbart is considered persona non grata in the news world for good reason, mate. Never take anything they spout seriously.

My loyalty is to the united states of America not to the state of California. In the event they decide to go for treason I'm going loyalist.

There is a archive link for the NYT article they sourced the claim from right there.

My understanding is that the Democrats are severally underestimating the public. Plenty of people dislike Trump, but nowhere as many share this level of complete revulsion. If this does happen what will actually come to pass is the big cities of the states have little temper tantrums while most of the counties and smaller municipalities will simply turn to the federal government as loyalists. There is no way in hell this could work, it would backfire so fast and hard it's amazing to me they are considering it.

I really can't believe anyone would legitimately believe that President Trump will lose in November. That someone who's clearly suffering from dementia could win is delusional.

[Edit]

Which is really strange to me as if the main stream media are so certain that Brietbart is a load of shit, they should be pushing it front and centre and disproving it's articles. You can come back to that old adage, "If you cut a man's tongue out, all you do is make others curious as to why," or however it's phrased. I've been stating for probably over a decade now, back on SB and I'll continue to do so here, you don't destroy bad ideas or ideologies by silencing them and forcing them into dark holes where you can't see them, you hold them to the light and expose why they're wrong. The left in the US and the UK have been doing this so blatantly and with so much overwhelming force that you have Donald Trump winning presidential elections, you have the Tories winning seats in the UK that were labour for decades if not a century or more.

Well, the Democrats led the last Secessionist movement. How well did that go for them? They do it again we may need to clean house.
No, that was the southern Democrats aka the Dixiecrats and they switched parties back in the '60s and '70s, eventually kicking the Rockefeller Republicans out.

A lot of people on the west coast would feel the same, especially once you get off of the coast. It's not a majority of the population, but it's often a majority of the land and the armed citizenry. An attempt at a west coast cession would end up being almost entirely vulnerable to litteral gun-boat diplomacy. More so than usual, since I know for a fact that there are large naval bases in San Diego and Everet which would have the coast back in line in less than a week.

And the marines have quite a bit based in California to boot as does the Army. Besides all the Federal Government has to do get an unconditional surrender is cut off the water.

NYT’s an “unbiased” source like CNN and MNSBC, therefore you have to believe whatever they say
The New York Times is a tabloid rag at best, and a dispenser of ideological propaganda at worst. Basically, if Breitbart can be considered "persona non grata" in the news world (and to be fair, they have published a lot of nonsense over the years), yet the NYT cannot, then the "news world" (whatever that is) should not be trusted in the slightest.

Still trotting out the tired old lies?

Next, tell me about the dangers of global cooling.
Interesting. I really only had a vague understanding of the whole Dixiecrat thing before.

I've seen some other stuff by D'Souza before, he seems like a pretty legit guy. Though, if anyone has reason to think otherwise, I'd be open to hearing about it.

I've yet to see a case where D'Souza gets his facts straight-up wrong. Sometimes he updates with things like "Actually, there was one Republican prior to the Civil War who owned slaves, it's not zero," but that's information he actively looks for himself.

Some of his speculation about what's going on isn't necessarily as reliable, but it's reasonable guesses based on available information at worst.

He's a very solid source, in my experience.
