I realize that you're trying to be the level-headed adult here, Steve, but we have pretty heavy indications that the Democrats as a party and as an institution are not playing by the rulebook, in addition to supporting and covering for their most extreme elements.

While yes, each and every Democrat certainly doesn't wish anyone to be raped, but as a faction/institution they have been behaving abysmally, and we shouldn't minimize that by dismissing it as the actions of a small fringe. Because even if that were true (not a trivial "if"), the moderate Democrat majority still bears responsibility for enabling said fringe.
