Election 2020 Election 2020: It's (almost) over! (maybe...possibly...ahh who are we kidding, it's 2020!)

I got this from the summary.

NBC News reporter was caught on a hot mic cursing when asked by anchor Craig Melvin to describe the impacts of the postponed transition of power for the intelligence community. “Oh, shit, fcuk"

Yeah, I didn't hear any knocking there. From the looks of it, whoever did the video might have had someone knocking on their door.

I mean, let's think a little here, if the Trump team knows it lost legitimately, why bother acting as if they have a chance? You could say rile up the rubes/base, but still that doesn't require anyone but Trump speak.

I could be wrong obviously, but if Trump can get a case load to the Supreme Court, and if and if it turns in his favor, then perhaps he is making a good calculation.

To use a pun he has a trump card under his deck?

If Trump willed he could go beyond the law and rule as Caesar did, through his will alone.

It would bring divisions in the country to a decisive ahead, and force his enemies to oppose him openly, while his supporters would rally behind him.

(Obviously crossing that rubicon would mean the end of the constitutional order).

I also doubt Trump has the courage for that sort of extraordinary action.

To do so with some basis of law would mean the Constitution would need to be suspended, surely there is an executive order or some other contingency for that sort of crisis?
