Election 2020 Election 2020: It's (almost) over! (maybe...possibly...ahh who are we kidding, it's 2020!)

Of course. They're still acutely aware of what the communists did to them and the stench of it is coming in hard from the democrats.

TBF, their brand of communism wasn't this kind

They sure as hell are probably freaked out by the West's variation

That whole area of Europe remembers VERY well what happened. Reason Poland loves us so much, at least their government.
And likely will be again real soon.
People give Eishenhower crap for telling Mcarthy to shut up, he stopped a wide spread fearmongering that he was doing, THough I think it should have made a comeback in the 90s and 20s after the fall.

You did not even remotely use the "lumpen-" prefix properly. It literally means "rogue" and the term lumpenproletariat refers to those of the proletariat who have no class consciousness. "Lumpenstasi" would refer to Stasi operatives who don't give a shit about their work.

No, i used it correctly in the context of bioleninism. The kinda people who have no sense of identity and no real talents and no prospects who are given the power to police and snitch on the normies in exchange for thier loyality to the system.

That's only the smoke screen for the gullible rubes. If the revolution succeeds, you're going to have a mighty large attempted purge but I can only hope that the military and police won't just follow orders. It's a terrible thing for a military to enact a coup but a socialist or communist revolution happening from the top down is more than enough of a reason for a coup.

I think they actually are severely dependent on these sort of people to maintain power/control over others

If anything, it also helps dominate the employees of the corporate-government alliances

Funny how people quote Russia to counter that, except they're confusing nostalgia for the days of superpower with fondness of Communism. I think Putin summed it up nicely with "Anyone who doesn't regret the passing of the Soviet Union has no heart. Anyone who wants it restored has no brains."
Also the whole "mortality rates sky rocketed after the Soviet Union collapsed because everything went to shit" which adds to the nostalgia factor. There was a chart one of the Russians on SB posted at one point that I can't manage to track down again that showed just how badly it got. In some age groups the mortality rate doubled from what it had been during the last years of the soviet period.

Well, when states start ignoring the Supreme Court on election issues, and openly...then I suspect they may ignore a SCOTUS ruling in Trump's favor as well.

We may end up with some states acknowledging different candidates as the legitimate winner, no matter what SCOTUS says.

That is recipe for legit civil war if I've ever seen one.

What happens when a state ignores the Supreme court?
Here is one thing you can trust SCOTUS on. They don't like anyone messing with their power. This has gone back to the very start of the court and judicial review. For a state that ignores SCOTUS, I don't anticipate any favors heading their way. If the default is that the votes stand as is, ignoring a SCOTUS order is giving the court a bitch slap. You might notice no matter how much Trump complained, whined, and yelled at SCOTUS, he never ever ever went around them. I put two evers in there since past Presidents have.

So when PA ends up in front of the SCOTUS to justify everything that has been going on, I don't expect eye rolling and whatever questions. I suspect we might see a 6-3 or even a 7-2 ruling for Trump due to how flagrant PA is being. When you want to argue election integrity and go directly against an earlier SCOTUS ruling, you are setting yourself up for failure.

People start going to jail for election interference which is a federal crime, and once people realize their are real conquences they start squeeling. this is already happening, I think this is going to blow up in their faces.
Richard Nixon got caught being unable to get away with Watergate. In this digital age can the same be said for voter fraud with many cases being picked up?
