Did you think I was kidding when I said that Trump was the first glimmer of hope I'd ever seen for our government being once again of the people, by the people, and for the people? It's not even about the man himself, but what he represents. For the first time since before I was born, someone who wasn't a career politician got elected to our highest office. Someone who didn't toe party lines, and set themselves against the elites of our society, instead of supporting them to the detriment of the people.
It's not that only one man can make everything better; it's that without someone like him as president, the Democrats and the Republicans will inexorably make things worse.
No, I'm calling it as I see it.
I do not expect many career GOP Swamp creatures to meaningfully resist Biden/Harris if they cheat thier way into the White House. Covid has already allowed bypassing of many Constitutional barriers to tyrannical edicts/acts, and the Dems will cheat again if they get away with it this time.
Also, Zoe's refusal to acknowledge the blatant election fraud that has been documented is something I can only chalk up to trying to prep for a Biden presidency and trying to cover her own ass from her potential new boss.

I have said many times that "conservative" parties are controlled opposition in which they exist to lose or if they win, still implement liberal leftist policies in some form.

Give her some credit; she probably just believes that the Republicans controlling the Senate is enough to stop anything the Dems might do, and doesn't really understand that, prior to Trump, they were often complicit in what their supposed opponents did. Remember how Obamacare was originally a Republican idea?
Win or lose, Trump absolutely should fight this out. Frankly, it doesn't really matter what voter fraud ends up proven in court; it matters what ends up "proven" in the court of public opinion - especially the opinions of the 70 million who voted for Trump.
So long as the Republicans hold the Senate (requires winning one of the two Georgia races to stop Harris from breaking ties), there is a hard limit on what a Biden administration can do. Especially when Republicans have refilled the judiciary under Trump.
The Republicans held onto state legislatures so that means Redistricting is going to favor them once again and SCOTUS set precedent last term that federal courts can't really intervene to redraw those maps.
The Dem's hold the House most likely but they will do so with razor thin margins which means that they get all the blame without having much leeway.
The RNC has seen the writing on the wall, the GOP is going to become a working class populist party and do so very quickly. The Lincoln Project Republicans? They aren't getting back in and their friends in Congress are going to get primaried in the next election.
Biden is going to face Senate investigations into his business dealings, if for no other reason than as payback for Russia-gate.
If you want the populist, nationalist, and working class party that Trump has built to last then get out, organize, and keep it. Build organizations, recruit like minded individuals, and prepare for next time.
When Jackson had an election stolen from him, he spent the next four years building a populist party and rode it into the Whitehouse. Don't let the Trump organizational apparatus collapse, maintain it, grow it, and recruit.
If a Republican in the House or Senate doesn't behave? Primary them.
And in four years? Run a candidate with Trump's fire but with a little less of the bombast and win. Give that person a House and Senate that is behind them and willing to give the government the enema that it needs. Run on an explicit campaign of investigating and purging the FBI, run from day one calling 2020 a stolen election and with an election integrity team that you have spent four years staffing, training, and preparing; have your own people with hidden cameras observing every single precinct in the dirty cities, have your people in every single counting location and camp outside them with all entrances under video surveillance the entire time.

For the sake of argument I would point out not all are even fans of Trunp but they see suspicious things like poll watchers being barred. You argue it is possible people hold trump too highly, and I agree but it is also quite possible you hold the process in too much esteem. Democracies have died throughout history ours has no special pact with God to prevent that.

Maybe you are right, but there is enough evidence of blatant voter fraud/election interference, the way Covid has allowed people to bypass the Constitution, and how career GOP Swamp creatures have acted before, that she is basically being willfully blind too that it's hard for me not to assume she's just in CYOA mode.

Anyone who thought Trump was God Incarnate, or Napoleon or Alexander or the God Emperor of Mankind needs to seriously re-examine what they put their faith in.
