Election 2020 Election 2020: It's (almost) over! (maybe...possibly...ahh who are we kidding, it's 2020!)

That would be highly highly illegal.

Is it? With all the crazy laws we have on this, I don't even know. There definitely seems to be some places where votes can be cast after election, as retarded as that is. I don't know if Georgia is one of them.

You have three days after election for votes to be counted if they are absentee/mail-in.

Well, looks like us who were more pessimistic about Trump's chances were in the right here. Its still within the realm of possibility that he wins if he manages to pull ahead in either Arizona or Nevada, but it certainly wouldn't be the landslide some people were predicting.

As for voter fraud, I'll assume things are on the level for now; though 'm sure Trump will bring everything he possibly can before the courts.

Which should be another shitshow that neither Democrats nor Republicans can afford to lose.
Unlikely. Chances are that the Republicans retain the senate anyway, so it's a deal, but not a big deal

That’s my take. It seems like (assuming a Trump loss) this is less a rejection of conservatism or embrace of liberalism and more, to quote a certain presidential candidate, “Will you shut up, man?!” to Trump personally. Which, yeah, given that people like his policies overall (generally speaking) more than they like him, is entirely reasonable.

If the GOP holds the Senate as expected, then Biden (really, Harris) can still do some damage, but they can’t do truly outrageous stuff like pack SCOTUS or add new states. And while 2022 might be favorable to Democrats in the Senate, mid-terms are usually bad for the incumbent party. Oh, and one thing that’s not getting much press is that Republicans actually made gains in the House. Not enough to flip it, but enough to put them over the 200 mark.

I’m interested to see how this goes, but this sure as shit isn’t the “mandate” a lot of Democrats were hoping for. Rather, it’s a “Will you assholes knock this shit off and just leave the rest of the country alone and in peace?”
