That would work but alas for you my entire strike force is mormon. Also I really do need to thank Comstar errr I mean the Draconis Combine for all these Heavy and Assault MechsI have devised a new superweapon which will guarantee the success of communism forever. Deploying now.
You have merely reinforced the value of Communism, future comrade. From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs. As your troops do not drink beer, they do not need it thus proving the value of communist thought. That would work but alas for you my entire strike force is mormon. I can't hear you over the Atlas stompingYou have merely reinforced the value of Communism, future comrade. From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs. As your troops do not drink beer, they do not need it thus proving the value of communist thought.
Fire from the outskirts of the base rains down onto where those forces are. It seems to only be small arms though effective small arms. The fort has large walls for such an invasion. The small arms fire increases the closer to the base you getAs the drop pods hit the ground I hit the release bolts, causing the front on the pod to blow outward releasing me from it's grasp.
I stepped outward, grabbing my Gauss Rifle and Automatic Plasma Rifle, as the members of my personal guard flooded around me from their drop pods, all of them where also decked out in the same Fallout Communist Power Armor as me, minus a few obvious touches to signify me as the one in command.
I quickly spoke. "We are a good few clicks south of our HQ, and another few from the base, we need to re-take it as quickly as possible, @Abhorsen should be able to keep the Spirit Of Lenin's shields up long enough for us to retake the place."
"Comrade Fallout." My men acknowledged, taking position.
My mind churned realizing @Zachowon was most likely in charge as it was his transmissions which Intel had intercepted in the area. He was no fool and had army experience in RL, unlike myself, so I knew I was going to have to be exceptionally brutal, and pragmatic, to pull out a win.
"It's lucky we even got here at all" I though, as we began the slow trek to HQ. "Whoever seized our anti-space weapons clearly doesn't have the scientific brains at immediate hand to use them. Only our most loyal scientist were allowed access to the weapon, so provided they aren't dead, they shouldn't talk to the capitalist and our compartmentalized the project to prevent such a thing will help...
"But still, if they manage to get who's required to hack our systems and the knowhow to actually launch all will be lost...I must win!"
