I actually really wished she'd run for President. I bet it would really stick in the regressive left's craw that the first woman President was her.

All she's doing is giving Putin a platform to spout whatever BS he wants and no real way to challenge him (because she either won't speak about any sensitive topics without preparation and be unable to refute any of Putin's claims despite it being fairly easy with a modicum of preparation, or because Putin won't agree to the sit-down unless any topics are off limits -he'll instead go for whataboutism like any good Soviet-trained official).
Honestly, Russia is only a major power because Western Europe is too far up its own ass to push back. Otherwise they're basically an oversized country with nukes but largely dependent upon resource extraction for their economy.
Oh, and in other news, apparently Biden had the Secret Service try and intervene to prevent Hunter from getting hit with charges over lying on a gun purchase in 2018.

Who honestly expects that any of it would actually to go towards improving our infrastructure? I mean our infrastructure is in dire need of repair, but I don't trust the establishment to not just funnel the money into their own pockets.

It seems to me like this mileage tax already exists in the form of the various and heavy taxes on each gallon of gasoline or diesel fuel, which is naturally going to roughly correspond to miles driven.
Granted one can slightly evade said taxes by driving a more fuel-efficient vehicle but I can't see that as a bad thing.
