Id understand it if we were actually at war, instead were basically just pussy footing around.

What really bothers me is how childish were being about this, if were going to run a series of proxy wars to destroy russias strength as a country fine but unless your actually putting boots to the ground don't go to this kind of extent.
 
Dude, I still know places that still refuse to call them "French fries" over Iraq. At least in this case it's directed against an actual belligerent state, even if they aren't exactly being belligerent against us. Still, it's not like random Russian people have anything to do with it, and there are plenty of them risking arrest or worse to protest Putin's war. And it's not like displaying/selling Russian mustard is helping Putin conquer Ukraine. It's just cheap virtue signalling, probably way closer to the "Freedom fries" thing than anything else.

I think he means our economic miracle in the 90s and what Argentina did in the 1860s and 1920s

But a repeat of that is unlikely as we don't have the balls to just fucking obliterate fuckers the way Roca and Mitre did or the willingness to just tell the ñoquis class to starve while we re-orient the economy the way Menem and Co did.

People sort of forget Argentina achieved its economic ascendancy two out of the three times it had one by basically acting like a Latin version of the Empire of Japan and that's kinda awful.

If the IOC has enough balls to MAN UP & grow a backbone, they need to ban Belarus & Russia from the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.
 
I see it unlikely since it would be "racist".

Even when it's now No Russian mode.
