You assume that those companies survive the war intact or at all.
And where are their factories located? What’s stopping the Right-winged nation from just using them?
And you assume that a blue Colorado won't just cut off the supplies of water to down stream Red states in the event of a Red on Blue war.
The western side of the Mississippi is mostly fed from rivers that originate in Colorado or Montana.
Not to mention a blue CO still has most of the modern industrial base in easy reach, the second most federal offices outside Dc, Cheyenne Mountain, the Air Force Academy, our own local refinery/petroleum reserves, coal reserves, some rare earths, small scale medical manufacturing, aerospace engineering firms out the wazoo, one-bounce via sat uplink to anywhere in the world while most of the US has to use 2-bounce, large agricultural and ranching lands that mean the state can feed itself to a large degree, and controls access across many of the main passes over the Continental Divide, has multiple missile silo's, multiple air bases, one of the US Mints, and even the GOP in the state is largely Never-Trumpers who wouldn't be likely to join a MAGA Crusade.
All your Red-States-cut-off-logsitics-to-Blue-States plans have a massive square hole in them that the GOP bugaloo boys keep wanting to ignore, but which controls a massive part of the water supply for the Red States in the Great Plains.
