So the RNC Convention will be taking place starting Monday... Tomorrow and also last four days. And like the DNC event this too will have a theme each day.

Monday - "Land of Promise"

Tuesday - "Land of Opportunity"

Wednesday - "Land of Heroes"

Thursday - "Land of Greatness"

The Republican Party platform actually hasn't changed since 2016 but that's probably due to indifference. What this Convention will offer is SPEAKERS!

Along with dudes and dudettes like Nikki Haley and Tim Scott, we'll have other speakers such as Nicholas Sandmann of the Covington Media Scandal, the gun bearing couple from St. Louis, the parents of Kayla Mueller (who was murdered by the austere Islamic scholar who headed ISIS), a Parkland school parent, and Alice Johnson who was the Granny freed by Trump at Kim Kardashian's request and led to eventual Criminal Justice Reform.

Charlotte 2020 Host Committee had planned a nearly $2 million “Southern Comforts” party, complete with beach music and bluegrass, every style of Carolina barbecue, and bags of swag that included a tiny NASCAR-styled stock car.

Now we might not even have Scott Baio... :cry: Whoever that is.
 
You know...I think I have finally cracked what the "Deep State" is. It is the Republican and Democrat politicians, their big business friends in tech and media, that don't give one fig for America and are in it for the money and power it gives them. They want to be the new ruling class with us plebes as serfs serving them. That is the Deep State.
 
Just got home from baseball and while stuffing my face I decided to watch the RNC on the Official RNC Youtube Stream. Charlie Kirk just spoke. He gave a decent speech, definitely an unapologetic one. Stated Trump was the bulwark for Western Civilization, they're opposed by activists who never built anything, only tear things down, and that this vote is the most important since the American Civil War.

Then someone named Kathleen Friedrichs is speaking about education reform and dunking on Teachers Unions and their grip on America's Public Schools and how Trump is advocating real education reform and freedom and challenging the Teachers Unions.

Now Tanya Weinreis, whose a small business owner of a coffeeshop is speaking about entrepeneurship and small businesseses and how their business has been affected by the China Virus and the concurrent lockdowns and how a PPP loan helped keep their business active.

Production values and transitions are pretty awkward but it makes for nice background listening at the very least. :)
 
I really liked Haley's and Tim Scott's speech, though the woman who survived bone cancer was very powerful in her message.

Looking forward to bringing yesterday and today's speech's later tonight and tomorrow.

Particularly because Rep. Crenshaw did his speech fro the deck of battleship Texas, which is over 100 years old and is about to go in for a lot of drydock work. That ship's is the last of its kind, and has seen more of American history than any one alive, just the Constitution and Constellation.
 
Chen Guangcheng, the blind Chinese dissident who escaped house arrest and received asylum in America back in 2012 is speaking now about the CCP's "Crimes against Humanity." For Day Three I felt a lot of the speeches were pretty okay but this one, maybe it's just his presence on stage and how he's using braille to read his speech but his unapologetic tone in criticizing the CCP definitely got my attention more then any of the otehr speakers so far. Speech of the Night so far!
 
I honestly bet the actual NeoNazi's are PISSED that Trump's got so many non-Ciswhite Heterosexual Male friends and associates and has allowed em for the RNC

They will say they're voting Republican and secretly vote Democrat

Kayla Mueller's parents are speaking now. What a punch in the gut their story is... 😟

Kayla Mueller, FYI, was the aid worker who was captured by ISIS and tortured (and worse abuse) by them before being executed after over 18 months of captivity. I had to post this now just as a release valve. The speech is heartbreaking.
