So, given who won, Washington and Michigan are definitely in the CFP. Now there are two spots for the rest.

We know Texas beat Alabama who beat Georgia, so that's Georgia out of the running IMO.

Ohio State, FSU, Texas, and Alabama are the remaining. And if Alabama can only make it if Texas does.

FSU is an undefeated Power 5 conference winner... but... they're on their third string QB and their offense sucks, they just aren't a good team. Also, their strength of schedule was weak.

Alabama is the last chance for an SEC team to make it.

Texas, IMO, has the best chance of making it.

Then the wildcard is Ohio State. They didn't win their conference and didn't even place second, and already lost to a team in the CFP? Worse, they didn't play this week, and were ranked 6th. I don't see them making it at all.
Ohio State will NOT be in the CFB Playoffs!

They'll end up in New Years Six Bowl.

I wouldn't say the offense sucks... but it's super limited when the QB doesn't have reps with the rest of the team.

In the last two games, the lack of familiarity between the receivers and the QBs has led to a lot of dropped balls. When you can't get the pass game going, it gets easy to shutdown the run game.

Also, after Tate Rodemaker got himself concussed last week, we didn't really want Brock Glenn running around, and every time he did, it produced a decent amount of puckering.
We're going to find out soon enough later this morning 11:00 AM CST on ESPN.

Punting FSU out of the playoff has apparently completely fucked up the ACC bowl distribution, made Jordan Travis so depressed that he publicly stated he wished he broke his leg earlier in the season so the injury would not be held against them, pissed off the legislature of Florida, and potentially has FSU so pissed it might boycott the Orange Bowl.

Also, they fucked over some Division II school that beat a Division I team too.

Slow clap at the Playoff Committee just pouring massive amounts of kerosene on the conference realignment nightmare fire, and potentially getting themselves setup to be the next against the wall after the NCAA gets fucked.

I do NOT see Florida State boycotting the Orange Bowl. They're just venting & angry right now.

Heard about SMU getting passed over as well: being denied a New Years Six Bowl.
