No. 3 Washington defeats No. 5 Oregon in the 2023 Pac-12 Championship Game in Las Vegas by final score of 34-31: making it the final Pac-12 Championship Game as the conference gets dismantled!

Washington is likely heading to the Rose Bowl in the 2023 CFB Playoff Semifinals against likely Big 10 champion No. 2 Michigan Wolverines.

So, given who won, Washington and Michigan are definitely in the CFP. Now there are two spots for the rest.

We know Texas beat Alabama who beat Georgia, so that's Georgia out of the running IMO.

Ohio State, FSU, Texas, and Alabama are the remaining. And if Alabama can only make it if Texas does.

FSU is an undefeated Power 5 conference winner... but... they're on their third string QB and their offense sucks, they just aren't a good team. Also, their strength of schedule was weak.

Alabama is the last chance for an SEC team to make it.

Texas, IMO, has the best chance of making it.

Then the wildcard is Ohio State. They didn't win their conference and didn't even place second, and already lost to a team in the CFP? Worse, they didn't play this week, and were ranked 6th. I don't see them making it at all.

If Alabama makes it que a the buckeyes throwing a fit they have never forgiven us for beating them out of the Championship a few years back.

I wouldn't say the offense sucks... but it's super limited when the QB doesn't have reps with the rest of the team.

In the last two games, the lack of familiarity between the receivers and the QBs has led to a lot of dropped balls. When you can't get the pass game going, it gets easy to shutdown the run game.

Also, after Tate Rodemaker got himself concussed last week, we didn't really want Brock Glenn running around, and every time he did, it produced a decent amount of puckering.
