......"the communist government in Mainland China collapsed so quickly than you can say folding cards. Within hours or days, Hong Kong and Macau including other territories fell to the Taiwanese Armed Forces, who had more military firepower which consisted nearly 6+ million and counting. With the mainland being split into three different countries ala DMZ-style, the rest of the Asian Pacific watched with both fear and intrigue wondering if there will finally be peace in the region. Over in Taipei, Chiang went on Taiwanese national television and addressed the Taiwanese people with these words: "After more than 30+ years, we have finally taken back the Mainland!" It was finishing what his late father tried to do, launch a full-scale invasion of the Mainland. Taiwan was already a nuclear power back in the 70s, and with quiet complicit backing from the United States and other Western-allied nations, Taiwan was going to show the world that they were not going to be messed around with."

Having taken pages out of the playbook from the late Republic of Korea President Park Chung-hee, Chiang used similar "Miracle on the Han River" economic initiatives, by implementing "Miracles on the Straits" which greatly improved the island nation's economy leading to record high employment among all Taiwanese of all socio-economic backgrounds."

As for the 37th President, he was reportedly embarrassed and furious at seeing his greatest foreign policy gamble completely dismantled altogether, which had already began getting gutted and dismantled once Rockefeller ascended to the Presidency following Ford's assassination. Maria Eva Duarte de Peron (7 May 1919-26 July 1952), better known as just Eva Peron or by the nickname Evita, was an Argentine politician, activist, actress and philanthropist who served as First Lady of the Argentine Republic from June 1946 until her death in July 1952, as the wife of Argentine Republic President Juan Domingo Peron (1895-1974). Born in poverty in the rural village of Los Toldos, in the Pampas, as the youngest of five children. In 1934, at the age of 15, Duarte moved to Buenos Aires, the nation's capital city in pursuing a career as a stage, radio and film actress.

Meeting then Army Lieutenant General Juan Peron during a charity event benefit for the victims of the 1944 San Juan Earthquake, Duarte and Peron both married the following year. In 1946, Juan Peron was elected President of the Argentine Republic, which made Eva Peron as the nation's First Lady, making her one of the youngest First Ladies of the Argentine Republic at the age of 27. During the next six years, she became increasingly powerful in her own right, especially within the pro-Peronist trade unions, speaking on behalf of labor rights. She ran the Ministries of Labor and Health, founded the Eva Peron Foundation, championed women's suffrage in the Argentine Republic and also founded and ran the Female Peroninst Party, serving as its president.

In 1951, she announced her campaign for the Vice Presidency, but staunch opposition from the Argentine High Forces Command including the wealthy segments of the country including her own husband, who feared a military coup caused her to withdraw her candidacy. Following a battle with cancer, Eva Peron eventually succumbed to the disease at the age of 33 in July 1952. Upon her death, she was given a State Funeral , which was a perogative usually reserved for Heads of State.

In the decades following her death, Eva Peron quickly became an international iconic figure, especially international popular culture in television miniseries, movies and documentaries.

Chapter 15: Mourning in the Portuguese Republic: The Death of Portugal's Popular First Lady

*Sunday, 12 June 1983: Portugueseans woke up to the stunning news as regularly scheduled programming was abruptly interrupted when news stations across the Portuguese Republic confirmed that Portuguese First Lady Catalina Gonsalves, the wife of Portuguese President General Winfield Gonsalves, passed away early Sunday morning at the Belen Palace (Residence of the Portuguese President) surrounded by her family including her husband, President Gonsalves himself.

Palace insiders detailed Mrs. Gonsalves had been battling an undisclosed illness for three years and had recently stopped further medical treatments several months earlier as the secret undisclosed illness had spread throughout her entire body.

Saturday, 25 June 1983: The flag-draped casket of the late Portuguese First Lady Catalina Gonsalves placed on horse-drawn caisson following State Funeral services.​

On the morning hours of Friday, June 17th, thousands of mourners lined up the streets of Lisbon to pay their respects to the late Portuguese First Lady Catalina Gonsalves as they filed past her open casket inside the Rotunda of Parliament House. An estimated 3,373,683 had paid their respects during the week of June 17th to 24th.

Among those paying their respects included several foreign dignitaries: Colombian President Lieutenant General Seymour Quintero; US Secretary of State George P. Shultz; Brazilian President Joao Figueredo; British Prime Minister Geoffrey Howe; Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau; French President Francois Mitterrand and countless others.

On the morning of Saturday, June 25th: the State Funeral took place at Mosteiro dos Jeronimos which was aired on nationwide television across Portugal. Among the foreign dignitaries attendance: King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia of Spain; US President Ronald Reagan and his wife, US First Lady Nancy Reagan; King Charles III of the United Kingdom; Prince Rainier III of Monaco; French President Francois Mitterrand; Chilean President Captain General Augusto Pinochet; Brazilian President Joao Figueredo; King Baudoiun I and Queen Fabiola of Belgium; Haitian President Jean-Claude Duvalier; Jamaican Prime Minister Edward Seaga; Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos and his wife, Philippine First Lady/Vice President Imelda Marcos; Republic of Korea President Chun Doo-hwan and his wife, Republic of Korea First Lady Lee Soon-ja and many countless other foreign dignitaries.

Following the State Funeral festivities, Catalina's flag-draped casket was carried out of the Mostiero dos Jeronimos: where Departure Honors were rendered with playing of the Portuguese National Anthem & the loud 21 Cannon Salute; following the Departure Honors, Catalina's flag-draped casket was placed on a horse-drawn caisson, which was accompanied by 73 limousines containing members of the Gonsalves family and several members of the Portuguese government including high-profile figures of the Portuguese Armed Forces in a long funeral procession through the streets of Lisbon before heavy crowds of mourners with an estimated 6,673,683 in attendance.

Before a small circle of family and friends, Catalina was laid to rest in a private entombment ceremony in the outskirts of Lisbon.
According to insiders, plans are currently underway constructing a very large tomb of the late Portuguese First Lady, which will eventually become her final resting place.

......"the Sci-Fi movie called "The Secret Live of the Female Gymnast" was viewed by some observers as very violent, gory, graphic and extremely gruesome considering majority of the scenes had skin-shedding and more skin-shedding. One person who watched the movie, said "I never expected the skin-shedding scene when skinless Molly came out of the weird-looking concrete wall like that, scaring one of the fellow female gymnasts, who tried to run away, but Molly grabbed her from behind and removed her skin as well, but didn't kill her". Siskel and Ebert both watched some scenes of this fictional Sci-Fi movie and both were quite disturbed somewhat, but rated it somewhere between five and six stars total. The R-rated movie is likely going to become one of the first of multiple triology movies of The Secret Live of the Female Gymnast specials going forward."

Ted Koppel: "This is an ABC News Special Report.... we are interrupting your regularly scheduled programming to bring you news of disturbing developments coming out of Paris, France: where United States Senator Sam Nunn (D-GA) including several others in a bipartisan group of United States Senators during a congressional delegation visit to meeting with French President Francois Mitterrrand discussing the bilateral relationship between the United States and France, was seriously wounded in a violent ambush while he was addressing the US Embassy personnel employees and office staff at the US Embassy Compound in Paris. According to eyewitnesses, Senator Nunn was in the middle of his address to the Embassy personnel when about six shots rang out: striking him twice in the chest and once in the head. I should repeat, that ABC News cannot and will not confirm this unconfirmed report of such detail until more developments are coming in.

There are reports coming in at this hour that a mysterious group called "The Secret Task Force" also used explosives, which blew up parts of downtown Paris including the Eiffel Tower which fell down killing over several bystanders, who tried to run for safety. It appears that France has been hit by terrorists and the casualties have reached over 70,000+ and counting. I want to repeat once again, Senator Sam Nunn of Georgia has been shot by unspecified unknown assailant during a speech at the US Embassy Compound in Paris, France. I am coming onto the air this evening informing the American people of recent disturbing developments that have transpired in France; this morning, in a surprise attack, the so-called Secret Task Force under the direct orders of the Maddog of the Middle East, Lybian dictator General Muammar Gaddafi launched a devastating terrorist attack on the French Republic with violent brute force. They were able to successfully launch multiple terrorist attacks in parts of Paris as well as critical infrastructure within a matter of hours, despite the heroic and fierce resistance of both French and American forces on the ground, who bravely held off the violent onslaught for hours despite sustaining massive casualties in the midst of the chaos.

At this hour, Senator Sam Nunn of Georgia was among those seriously wounded in this despicable attack by the so-called Secret Task Force. We believe that the Lybian attack was supplemented by foreign mercenaries, most likely communist rebels from Colombia and potentially other foreign irregular forces such as Cuba and the Soviet Union as well. This cowardly and unspeakable attack on the French Republic is also a direct attack on the United States. Make no mistake about it. And no attack against allies of the United States will ever be allowed to stand! I have instructed Defense Secretary Henry Jackson to begin preparing for military retaliation against the Lybian dictatorship and any other foreign actors involved in the violent terrorist attacks on the French Republic. I am giving General Gaddafi an ultimatum------withdraw all of your forces from France immediately within 48 hours. To not do so, will result in the United States initiating military operations against the Lybians at a time of our choosing. *Thursday, June 30, 1983: Americans woke up to the shocking news coming out of the American Hospital in Paris, France: where spokesperson from the hospital held a press conference confirming that United States Senator Sam Nunn (D-GA) died from complications from gunshot wounds which he sustained on the 06.28.83 Incident in the Paris terrorist attacks. Nunn was 44 years old. Georgia Governor Joe Frank Harris announced that he will appoint an interim replacement to Nunn's US Senate seat until a special election is held. President Ronald Reagan was notified about Senator Nunn's death and personally phoned Nunn's widow, Colleen Nunn to give his condolences. Members of the Georgia congressional delegation also gave their condolences including Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young and several Georgia statewide officeholders such as Georgia Lieutenant Governor Zell Miller. Flags have been flown half-mast across the entire State of Georgia as Georgians are mourning the loss of their popular Senior United States Senator, who was first elected to the United States Senate in 1972 and was overwhelmingly reelected in 1978 with 83% of the statewide vote. Nunn was seen as one of the staunchest conservative Democrats in the United States Senate during his nearly 11 years in office.

FUNERAL SERVICE FOR THE LATE UNITED STATES SENATOR SAM NUNN (D-GA) AS AMERICANS BID FAREWELL

From the morning of July 2nd to 5th, the body of the late United States Senator Sam Nunn (D-GA) laid in repose at the US Captiol Rotunda, where approximately 103,373 people paid their respects to him. US Senate Majority Leader Howard Baker (R-TN) and US Senate Minority Leader Robert Byrd (D-WV) hosted a special service of memory for him. On the afternoon of July 5th, Senator Nunn laid in repose inside the Georgia State Capitol Building Rotunda in downtown Atlanta, Georgia where thousands of Georgians paid their respects to their popular United States Senator who guided the Peach State through the 1970s and early 1980s. Many of the visitors were African Americans, who long supported Nunn for his commitment to civil rights.


On July 8th, funeral services were held at the Glenn Memorial Church on the campus of Emory University in Atlanta. The main speakers were former United States Senator Jimmy Carter (D-GA); Georgia Governor Joe Frank Harris; Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young. Colleen Nunn, the late Senator's wife of 18 years, also spoke a few words to honoring her husband. Several political leaders from all over Georgia including across America and across the world attended the funeral services, as did businesspeople, sports athletic stars, rank-and-file individuals. Many of those attending included bipartisan congressional delegations from the US House of Representatives and United States Senate respectively. Later in the afternoon of July 8th, a small circle of family, friends, congressional colleagues and several Georgia statewide and local elected officeholders were present when Senator Nunn was laid to rest with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.

She also served as honorary chairperson of the Georgia Special Olympics and volunteered with the Georgia Regional Hospital.

......"political observers assumed by appointing Jimmy's wife Rosalynn to Nunn's US Senate seat, that the ongoing political problems such as corruption scandals and federal indictments would go away. Harris was obviously mistaken.

The US Justice Department announced more federal indictments against several key administration officials of Governor Harris' administration and things were getting worse as many political rivals pushed for recall petitions to forcing him out of the Governorship altogether.

As petitions were being signed, talks about the Peanut Farmer's political comeback began being bountered about: would he consider returning to the United States Senate in a special election if Rosalynn wouldn't run or would he seek the Governorship for a third time? Other politicians were also watching to see how political jockeying would increase.

I knew that Miller was getting antsy about the possibility of a Carter return to the Governor's Mansion in a potential recall election. And Zell already lost the runoff election in the 1980 Democratic primary for United States Senator when Talmadge defeated him. So Zell needed to tread carefully on where to pick his battles.

Former Governor George Busbee was asked if he would consider running for the United States Senate in a special election. Busbee wouldn't confirm or deny but would at least think about it------based on the assumption Rosalynn wouldn't run for the Senate seat herself.

......"The Democratic Party began having deep, honest, tough, harsh discussions during closed-door meetings on the path forward for the party. Losing four consecutive Presidential elections in a row: 1968, 1972, 1976 and 1980, caused many inside the party to spiral out of control.

Progressives and liberals complained that the party was too accomdating to conservative whites in the South, Midwest and Rocky Mountains. They brought up the fact that Wallace won the 1976 Democratic Party presidential nomination due to a splintered divided field, which caused a 45 State landslide loss.

Moderates and conservatives blasted the liberals and progressives for causing Middle Americans to abandoning the Democratic Party with too much extreme liberal policy proposals and too many big government programs. The moderates and conservatives weren't wrong you know."

Then Jennifer walked towards a stretcher, where an unconscious Chelsea was laying on her stomach (naked and barefoot). After placing Chelsea on her back, Jennifer used an incision knife and removed Chelsea's entire human skin from head to toe, revealing a skinless yucky naked alien underneath.

Monica was really freaking out because she felt like she wanted to vomit after seeing the grisly reveal of both Jennifer and Chelsea as yucky aliens.

Sensing an opportunity to get out of there, Monica quietly snuck out of the secret hideout and hurriedly ran out of the underground secret tunnel before getting back to her room, in an effort of sleeping things off, forgetting about the entire grisly ordeal.

It didn't last long as Monica noticed something extremely bright shining in her face...... And just like that, Monica mysteriously disappeared and was secrerly abducted into an unknown outer space planet out there........................................................................."
