I'd list those three movies as canon...they'd be Imperial Remnant propaganda. ;)

That's a fair interpretation. Really, just a matter of how each person views that event. So...yeah...we're both right!! :P

I don't buy this interpretation. I don't think Yoda fell to the dark side at all. That image of Yoda felt more like his stubbornness taking over. If there had been a fall to the Dark, Yoda would have attacked Sidious directly with the Force. He did not.

Honestly, SW lost me before all that was written so I never read any of it.

Han is the original Andor...the anti-hero.

This one is how I always felt that should have ended: Now back on topic: My biggest problem for the new Wars was that everyone seemed to just never really see our Heroin suffer true personal loss or even have a challenge without being rescued by her Force Powers being set to Auto.

Umm...there 'viewership minutes' are down to something like 30% of what they were even a couple years ago. That's not good.

Vader's cybernetics were in no way a help to Vader being able to dispatch Sidious. Sidious specifically engineered Vader's suit to be vulnerable to Sidious' Force Lightning. I believe it was only Vader's use of the Force in defense of Luke, which allowed Vader to overcome the damage being done...

Plot-wise, the biggest problem here is that you remove the singular Act that completed Anakin's fall to the dark side. In fact, this may even cause Anakin to Not fall.

@Typhonis My biggest problem with it is the Planetary Shield around Coruscant.

Star Wars has had inertial dampeners for a LONG time. Many novels mention pilots dialing it back from 100% effective to a tiny percentage so they can feel the maneuvers.

    1. Likely 2. I don't even remember the name of the ship to look it up...and apparently, neither does the internet.

Because Particle shielding pretty much means that kinetic impacts are ignored while they still function. At least that's how it was largely written back in the day. Mind you, the particle shields are separate from defensive battle Shields. I've always taken that to mean that particle shielding...

It's also NOT a warship. It only acts like b/c "Federation Super" Yes. The only real way I've seen the idea achieve relevancy is with contact detonations OR turning them into BOMB-Pumped Which is what all starships' particle shielding. Makes micrometeors non-threatening. And it's ALWAYS ON...
