A South African Aerospace engineer named Paul Potgieter who was known as the 'Father' of the Rooivalk Attack Helicopter passed away in a car accident a few weeks ago. He worked on many other things for the South African Defense Contractor Denel (formerly Atlas) and for various aerospace and engineering concerns and associations as well over his decades of professional work. This including modifying indigenous Cheetah and French Mirage jets to utilize Russian MiG-29 Engines and designing new crew pods for Airbus Transport aircraft among many other accomplishments. He also established Aerosud, a new private aerospace engineering firm.

BREAKING: Former Chilean President Sebastian Pinera killed in helicopter crash on Ranco Lake earlier this afternoon. According to La Nacion, Pinera had survived the helicopter crash, but the impact left him unconscious & because he was unable to take off his safety belt, Pinera sadly drowned.
