Sure their new look based on the superhero's psycho and insane, but the superhero knows they got a bunch of screws loose

Turns into a comedy involving the occasional moments of psycho popping up

That reminds me of Doug MacLeod's series Door Repair Guy.

My idea is from Spacebattles I twisted Invader Zim and added some elements of Destroy All Humans to it. Made Zim human because 50's you know and went to town with it.

Bobb Anne Mason walked down the sidewalk to her house. School was over and she was walking her brother home from his elementary. A frown marked her face as she listened to him talking to his two friends. Apparently they had a frog in a shoebox and were planning something with it. The blonde teenager shook her head. Bos uggh.

Captain of the debate team, valedictorian if her grades remained the same throughout her junior and senior years. The 16-year-old beauty was also on Bayside Highs Cheerleading squad. Go Bayside Patriots. Blue eyes looked around and she felt her heart skip a beat.

There HE was 20 years old. Built like a Greek deity. Zim. He was wearing a wife-beater with jeans and boots. She bit her bottom lip as the short-haired brunette was glaring at the top of the tree like it had mortally offended him. She could see his blue eyes flashing as he watched ...something. A blush formed on her face as she steeled her gaze forward.

She knew who he was, everyone knew who he was. Sergeant Danforth was convinced he could prove the young man was a highly placed criminal. He was the typical rebel without a cause, bucking authority, and seeming to get in trouble. However, there was a heart of gold under the gruff exterior. He was willing to help widow Williams out and he never took a dime for doing so. He was polite to everyone...including the Jones family. As her own mother said all that young man needs is a good woman in his life to guide him properly and that woman was going to be her!.

Then Bobby saw something that made her blood boil. There was Jolene Jones wearing a swimming outfit! Why the thing was so indecent it nearly exposed her belly button! That, that cow! She saw where she was setting up to suntan herself and the blonde saw red. She hurried up the pace. Two people can play that game and Bobby Anne Mason would not lose to that brunette cow! Yes, Jolene was captain of the cheerleading squad and her rival for Valedictorian but still, she would win Zim's heart and show her who was the better woman!

Zim glared at the tree rat. The thing chittered at him and he oh so wished he could draw his plasma pistol and reduce it to ash. However, he promised General Abernathy he would not do anything rash. The movement drew his eye and he turned his head slightly. There was one of the immature women. Apparently she was attempting to damage her skin by allowing the primary stars radiation to cook it. Oh well...oh she was wearing protection. She was smiling at him and waving the bottle as if asking for a favor.

Well, he wasn't busy at the moment. More movement caught his eye and he watched her blonde rival enter her own domicile..... ahhh the ancient tradition of females fighting over an alpha male in their own way. Trying to make him choose which one he would mate with. He snorted in mirth as he walked over to the brunette female. As if he were attracted to immature specimens like themselves. Give him a good woman with a few centuries under her belt. Why he himself was three hundred years old. Why would he be attracted to one that hasn't even entered the second decade of her life?


Like I said I'm trying to use Invader Zim and all of the tropes from 50's television to have a bit of fun. Doctor Mason and Doctor Jones. Rivals, frenemies. Their relationship is as coworkers trying to reverse alien technology the US Air Force somehow got their hands on. Helped along by some alien textbooks that completely rewrote what they knew of science. Richard Mason knows his daughter has a crush on General Abernathy's nephew. He also gives thanks that the boy has enough morals to not take advantage of her.

Dr. William Jones is in the same boat thankful that he hasn't tried taking advantage of Jolene either. The two men are rivals. Their daughters are rivals...their wives think both are being idiots and are open friends. Everyone thinks Zim is the general's nephew and waiting to be drafted.

Zim himself is a wreck, a mental wreck. He was facing burnout from being too good at his job. Idiot superiors, daft underlings. He was at the point where he was about to go postal when he hit upon an idea. He bribed a general and had a few non-disclosure agreements signed. He then grabbed them, packed for a long, long mission, and got the hell out of Dodge. He found Earth and managed to contact one of the governments. He cut a deal with the American's and now draws a modest paycheck from them. He also does a bit of clandestine photography for them and gets more money.

For him life is good but he finds Earth human customs a bit strange.

Chaz Finster believing that his son should know more of his family roots, decides to take his family out to Arizona to meet a relative of his, a brilliant scientist and a great man. Oh, sorry. Wasteland series, and Rugrats. Which is why it is so insane, crossing over the past of a franchise with an entirely unrelated one, because of a shared last name.

Idea: Goblin Slayer finds a EVIL DAEMONIC SWORD which he tries leaving or throwing away

Unfortunately it keeps on coming back to him and keeps trying to tempt him with its great power

Goblin Slayer just keeps ignoring it and says stuff like "I cannot use you in small caves" and "Goblins might get you"

(Though it says stuff along the lines of "We both die here" and gets angry and afraid when in extreme danger)

Much to said EVIL DAEMONIC SWORD's constant annoyance as well as constant jealousy regarding Goblin Slayer using different weaponry and complaining about how he's only being used against "mere green midgets"

GS eventually learns it has some spells of use such as [Berserk], [Radar] and [Burning Blade] etc and decides to use those strategically

Everybody else in the Guild just stares at the blatantly EVIL DAEMONIC SWORD and its kinda apathetic wielder

Worm Prompt: In an Older AU, where things turn out weirdly better but Zion still goes on his rampage across multiple alternate earths

Dean Stansfield AKA Gallant somehow accidentally has a one night stand with Victoria Dallon(Glory Girl), Amy Dallon(Panacea) and Missy Byron(Vista)who are all of legal age and are now pregnant with his child

He bows down and and vows to take responsibility for all of them and somehow The City doesn't mind polygamous marriages and such

The movie Knocked Up but with superpowers and an attempt by The Fallen to kidnap them and their yet to be born children

And them all becoming a new literal "Super Family" type team

In the time of being inactive or unactivated, the galaxy at large has come to HATE your kind to the point of purposely destroying any advanced machinery in order to prevent "over-reliance" and as a result, much of galactic civilisation lives in poverty, with an obsession with "environmentalism" and "spirituality", "equality" and "human purity" with a "priest caste" of sorts being amongst the only ones allowed access/use of said remaining advanced technologies whilst severely regulating and planning the galactic economy

Your existence was discovered and will eventually be discovered by the galactic human civilisation and at the same time, with your advanced technology you have detected new threats that require advanced technologies to solve and defeat

A massive swarm of eldritch-aliens, the first "alien civilisation" that humanity will meet, is coming in a century's time

Idea: You are a part of the Explorator Corps, you and your organisation traverse the "Outer Realms" via ancient technology left by some mysterious precursors

These worlds vary from what eerily look like alternate earths to alien civilisations to bizarrely the guts of mysterious alien-eldritch beings traversing known existence

Strangely enough YOU are the only ones who seem to be able to traverse the many many many realms after 200 years of exploration

ASOIAF Idea: Bran Stark does NOT get pushed by Jaime after discovering the Incest

Instead Bran gets distracted and climbs some other tower

He goes off to the South with Ned and awakens his Warg/Greenseer abilities sometime before leaving Winterfell

Knowing fate was changed somehow, Jojen and Meera Reed have to come up with reasons to tag along

Bloodraven presumably tries stuff to cripple Bran or get him further North again

Ned might still become Hand but Tyrion doesn't get grabbed and Caitlyn never goes south as the assassination attempt on Bran never occurs and so Ned isn't given any more reason to trust Baelish.

There is no Mountain attacking the Riverlands, nor is there a fight between Jaime and Ned that sees Ned crippled.

Ned is still probably stupid enough to make a hash of things when he finds out about the incest, but the contours of the Seven Kingdoms are different.

The Lannisters had no reason to expect war or to need their forces and so they aren't mobilized and already in the Riverlands.

Seeing lots of things there may get him super cynical

Varys might think him Bloodraven 2.0 if he confirms he’s an actual Warg

No, it couldn't. Bran is the second son of the Warden of the North and the Hand of the King. Any attempt to burn him because of his religious practices (or even by the Faith to attack him) would see the Throne smacking down the Faith. The Faith wouldn't even try.

I think Wargs are a bit of an OCP to most current powers on Westeros and Essos

So I've had a few Gamer ideas that I'm kinda interested in writing but I decided to create a consistent starting premise and Gamer system to use so that I don't have to deal with creating the thing from whole cloth for every story. Anyone else who wants to do a Gamer fic is also free to use it.

Premise: The Gamer system is a Cultivation method for a high tier Cultivator. "Real Life" Earth is a pocket universe under the dominion of said high-tier Cultivator. Everyone who dies on our Earth is offered a choice, they can be reincarnated somewhere else as a gamer or he can eat their soul. Upon reincarnation (birth or drop in depends on setting and is variable) the individual gains a Gamer ability that controls their Cultivation, with every kill they gain power (with the majority of said power going to the God). This will continue until they die (at which point the God eats them and gains all of their power) or reach Divine Tier, Level 100 (at which point they receive a book on Cultivation and the game ends).

Cultivation Levels:

Tiers: The equivalent of Cultivation tiers, everything in the universe falls into one of these tiers.

Experience: Gained from killing things with Essence (souls)

Character Level: Level in a given Tier, ranges from 0-100.

Attributes:

Derived Stats: HP/SP/MP

Skills: Skills are split into three categories (Minor, General, and Legendary).

Perks: Special enhancements that modify the general rules or provide some new ability.

The primary purpose of this system was to avoid what I found to be the most painful parts of the Gamer genre.
1) Inconsistent numbers.
2) Decimals and "passive" percentage based modifications to Attributes/skills
3) An Inconsistent system
4) Absurdly large numbers that are essentially meaningless.
5) Loot systems, Gatcha, and self directed Quest XP generation.

Inventory, Gamer's Body/Mind, Observe, etc. are all no longer "core" parts of the system; instead being Perks or Skills.

Observe, for example, would be a Legendary Skill made up of a whole panoply of Minor Skills.

In a world where VR Gaming/Internet is a thing

One asocial Otaku spends all his time getting cash, being a really good melee-only and getting lots of cash for all the stuff he trades for real money

He wakes up to an attempted robbery and has to try using all his melee skills IRL to defend hkmself

Unfortunately he’s either really scrawny or really fat and his body can’t even throw a proper punch without getting tired

Yes, he knows techniques and can predict opponents’ movements

So he barely lives

He resolves to be able to train his body IRL before he gets stabbed again

MGE Idea: A Kikimora without a master/husband finds a Hellhound-Puppy/Toddler that was orphaned due to The Order killing her parents

The Kikimora adopts the Hellwan and tries to teach her how to cook and clean and do other things

VERY messy due to her being a Hellhound and lots of comedy
