"A Netorare Story Gone Wrong"

As the guy being NTR'd turns out to be a Shoggoth or part-Shoggoth who was horribly shocked to find out what was going on

Now they are constantly on the run, waiting for who will be the next victim, they can't trust anybody or anything, the NTR Men are afraid for their lives

They can't even rest easy, knowing that the vending machine maybe the BOYFRIEND all along!!!

The remaining NTR Men a year later meet up and team up to survive

You don't get to see the NTR, this is SFW right up until the horror movie scenes occur

Idea: In a Dark Fantasy World, one dude has to deal with two horrible voices in his head

One that’s incredibly smart and greedy(kleptomaniacal and curious), One that’s incredibly bloodthirsty and perverse(into fighting and killing)

Both voices end up making him one of the most dangerous people in existence

The first for its photographic memory and encyclopedia of knowledge, the second for its ability to instinctively “know” how to use any and all weaponry and give extreme levels of control over the body and push it past its limits

The dude adventures so as to appease both voices

The first wants to know everything even if for whatever the reason, including works of fiction, even if it can’t use magic

The second wants to fight and kill dangerous opponents and get to constantly test itself against new opponents

With nothing better to do, the MC goes off “adventuring”

Secretly, unknown even to the two horrible voices in his head, he wants to die and/or rid himself of the voices

Sapient rodent civilizations, as seen in The Rescuers, Secret of NIMH, Rescue Rangers, and so on are widespread in fiction. So let's think about logistics and politics: How would such a civilization work? What would their economics be like? Their politics? How would they use other animals? Or relate to them?

Very gregarious. They would like crowds. If a room isn't crowded, they would close off parts with curtains to make it more crowded.

Also lots of partial tunnels, awnings and shades over walkways.

They would also probably develop a civilization based around salvaging human tech and microsizing it ala the NIMH movie.

They'd probably also put an emphasis on developing life extension tech by necessity.

They would also have seen that experiment that involved giving rats unlimited food and space.....which ended horrifyingly

Based on a quick read-through on Rat behavior...

I want to say that their civilization would be based on the idea of a "nest." Essentially a collection of these beings living together in a tight geographical area. Depending on the type of rodents you use, these may be a number of communal families co-existing, or more of a clan-like structure, where the members are all related to one another. Very communitarian- if someone isn't part of a group, they had better find one for the sake of their mental health, if not their physical well-being.

The nest forms the ideological framework for larger nations and organizations. Just as these beings form into nests, these nests are considered to have a similar relationship to one another, with such groups of nests perhaps forming into higher tiers of groups.

In a nest, there is a dominant leader. In the early days of their history, this may have been simply the strongest, the biggest, or the oldest among them. Later on, this may evolve into a more democratic system, a plutocratic one, or perhaps selected and enforced by a higher level of nest. But there is always someone in charge - failing to have someone in charge is a sign that the nest will break apart into smaller nests. Perhaps due to material necessity or ideological differences.

There will be a tendency for such creatures to remain where they are. There isn't an expectation in common society that young ones would leave and pursue their own life. Instead, the expectation is that they stay with (or, return as soon as possible to,) their family and nest. Genetic diversity is provided by outcasts - those that didn't conform with a nest's ideas, who were forced out due to a lack of resources, or had their nests and families destroyed by some tragedy. These outcasts may then be recruited by existing nests, or may alternatively form a new nest with other outcasts of like mind or circumstance.

Economically, I want to say that the Nest would once again dominate. Less sophisticated societies would be very generalist - a little bit of everything to survive on their own. As their technology improves, you would begin to see some more specialization. In a modern setting, for example, to produce a car, a nest (or group thereof) may mine the metal required, while another nest (or group thereof) will handle rubber manufacturing, and so on and so forth.

A more decentralized society may use a common currency for this purpose. A more centralized one may rely on strict hierarchies and robust lines of communication instead.

@AndrewJTalon , do you have any more information? Like, how closely are you sticking to your inspiration? A species with rodent-like characteristics (but may be much larger, on par with humans,) or using actual rodents as a base, with their small size taken into account?

I’ve sorta heard horror stories of a sort about rats climbing buildings somehow and being able to pull through very small holes

And how rats are most populous less in poor districts but areas wherein they can find the most food/trash

Like restaurants

This is an interesting article

Cannibalism won’t be too out of place the moment supply dissappears

Presence of too many people also puts them off

Marvel/Worm Idea: Taylor Hebert AKA Skitter/Weaver/Khepri "reincarnates" or finds her mind merged with that of a teenage Mary Jane complete with her pre-Khepri arthropod control powers

Said powers are less due to the presence of a Corona Potentia or some continent sized Eldritch Abomination dwelling on a parallel earth, but due to her being a mutant

She decides to try superheroing again and ends up working with Your Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman

Alternatively, she ends up becoming your Friendly Neighborhood Crimelord who may have murdered the Kingpin to get where she is

Slight conflict with ex-boyfriend Peter Parker/Spiderman involves her explaining how she’s kept crime down and made it comparatively safer for mutants and other peoples and invested in the local economy

LITRPG Idea: A Tomboy dies and/or reincarnates and/or just gets sent to another world

Or just wakes up one day with superpowers

She gets a power she despises but realizes to be surprisingly useful

She gets “Domovoi” and grows wolf ears, feathers near her arms, a dog tail and bird feet

images

Her LITRPG Power is based around “Being The Bestest Maid EVER!!!”

She can wield a broom as a powerful improvised spear, her starting weapon that can be upgraded

Make delicious meals that can also serve as buffs

“Make things spotless”

And move super fast and gracefully, how better to finish housework faster

She then goes off to be an adventurer in a world full of supervillains and superheroes and people laughing at her and making fanart

Idea: "This scary looking, bloodthirsty, heavily armed to equip an army, bloodstained and deadly guy who looks like a girl and claims to be an "Eldritch Horror using a form that would not be too terrifying", is now working as a maid for my noble-family"

A tomboy girl who's part of powerful Lordly House meets the titular Eldritch Horror using a humanoid form

Said girl invites said horror over

After the Lord almost having him attacked by scared AF men-at-arms

The Eldritch Horror settles down and passes the time by trying out "non-violent pursuits" whilst decked out in a maid uniform, to the utter horror and confusion of everybody else whilst constantly carrying around a sword that's more like a lump of iron, two dane axes, a halberd, a mace and other weapons all covered in "fresh" blood

Idea: A young boy is discovered by his father to have some incredibly horrible thoughts and desires, realizing how hard it’d be to remove them, the father instead has the boy channel them into artwork

The boy is surprisingly good at said artwork and even makes a living off it

To the father’s horror

It’s pretty much all Science Fiction-Fantasy+Ultraviolence+Heavy Metal+Action and NOT for young kids

Idea: A man cursed with immortality and mutated features which he hides behind a mask and his rather extremely bloodthirsty carnivorous triceratops go around the “Planes of Disseting”

Searching for increasingly dangerous “prey/trophies”

Almost everywhere they go, they are remembered, recorded and absolutely feared and hated for the destruction they cause in their desire for “adventure”

Idea: A Barbarian-Sword&Sorcery-Style Protagonist is released from a magic stasis coffin into modern day

He becomes lost at first before realizing much of what he sees is technology instead of magic

He proceeds to go and become a mercenary and later on a surprisingly honorable organized crime boss

Weird things happen however as in this world the magic of before is present as lovecraftian cults and even aliens are present

He decides to get paid to stop monsters in addition to usual “protection services”

This just makes the NTR'd man even a bigger loser. As a Shoggoth, he still failed to please his woman.

Carl, do you comprehend why men who are NTR'd are destroyed by what happens to their wife or gf?

The reason why he’s not “pleased his woman” is because both he’s hiding his Shoggoth-ness and because he’s nervous about actual sex

And thinking to save his virginity for when he reveals everything and if she wishes to be his wife and get married because he’s religious

Sure. But the wife or gf now yearns for the NTR man rather then him. She can say all day that she loves him but when it comes to lust, she does not lust for him.

Not unless you have your character act like an NTRman or go the tentacle monster route to change it back to him. Seeing as you complain alot about edgelord. I don't see this happening.

This was supposed to be a Horror-Comedy
