I use the same name here as I do there. I choose to not really interact out of the fan-fiction threads (and a few show threads) because of, frankly, how fucking nuts most of user-base and staff have become.
Hell, they've even started to "eat their own", banning certain members, thus following the cycle seen in a lot of Left/Far-Left groups.

Tbats not an ideological thing. The infraction point system is designed such that any level of imperfect behavior over time will cause eviction.
They're doing it 'gently' by severity/length of points until they expire.
If you hit someone with a 10 point infraction and have it expire in 6 months, they'll be fine; conversely, if you hit another person with the same infraction for 15 points and it doesn't expire for 12 months or even over a year... yeah, it won't take long to gently 'force' them off SB using the system.
Hell, I have a 15 point infraction that's set to expire in 3 years. 3! Basically, they hit me for "ITG'ing" when I genuinely believe that Shamina Begum should just be left to rot in that Syrian camp.
Can't have wrongthink, can we?
But if I were someone else, I guarantee you that infraction wouldn't need 3 years to expire.

Tbats not what I'm talking about though. I know that moderators display favoritism, they're not perfect. I'm saying that the system is intrinsically hostile on a scale similar to communism a la "in Heaven it works but they don't need it".

What is your view? Would you be able to ask him why he left out the part in Horus Rising with Abaddon that shows the Emperor's policy was to kill all aliens?
And literally his only piece of proof for the C'tan being wanked is a quote from the Nightbringer novel where the Nightbringer was only at the tiniest sliver of a fraction of a fraction of its strength and the Nightbringer using its ship to destroy solar systems. Like, the Nightbringer's ship is specifically noted as only having a fraction of its strength and UA knows that.
So is this why you chose to register on the Sietch? Because Somebody Was Being Wrong On The Internet about stuff in a fantasy universe?

Some one being wrong on the internet has spawned entire books, series and I think at least one documentary by now.
Eh, there're worse reasons to register than "You're wrong and I will show you! I will show you all!"
I chose to register after several months lurking because i saw the forum was close to 1000 members and wanted my username. I started lurking because i saw the shitshow on sb and wanted to read new chapters of A Fighting Chance. I think i'll be staying for a while as this is one of the few places to talk about science fiction that won't act like authoritarianist commies. Could use more Asoiaf si fanfiction though😥

I'm honestly here because I enjoy being here. I lurked around for a while and thought a smaller community is actually better than most forums I've seen.
Try to enjoy it while you can. Small communities don't always stay that way.

I have nothing against. I just do not appreciate his deliberate dishonesty in regards to what I talked about. And the fact that he is regarded as one of the best and smartest out there caused me to talk about this.
