So, update from my side of the front: the action of my superiors has boiled down to nothing but window dressing. Still no masks, and the precautions are basically nothing but a bunch of pinned leaflets and us using our own judgment to bet whether someone is visibly sick. Which is super reassuring with a plague that's asymptomatic for more than 14 days. Also, supposedly the adjacent camp tests people, according to the calm-down email we got. Which I know to be a lie since I spoke directly with that agency as well. They don't do precautionary tests on new arrivals (keep in mind that we are still taking in applicants that come from Italy) because they do not have the facilities or personnel to do so. Also, because they don't have test kits. So, the Gap of Rohan is still wide open.
