The Israel Defense Forces commander said the accidental shooting this week of three Israeli hostages in Gaza was "against the rules of engagement."
I'm guessing there will be a court martial involved.
Not my morality, the basic morality that every country has agreed to known as the geneva convention though (and before that, the Hague). And yes, if Israel doesn't uphold basic moral standards, then why should we support them?
Congratulations, by that logic you would not have supported the Allies in WW2 then. After all, some of their soldiers committed war crimes, and i'm not talking meme war crimes like strategic bombings and other controversies, i mean war crimes they themselves convicted own soldiers for. Which is what is expected of countries to remain in good standing even when such things happen, as it is unrealistic to expect countries to not have any stupid or crazy people end up among 6-7 figure armies.

As opposed to certain other military forces where war crimes are not prosecuted, but rewarded or celebrated as heroic.

United States introduces Operation Prosperity Guardian in response to the Iranian-backed, Hamas-aligned Houthis who continue their efforts to block the Red Sea maritime traffic. It'll be a multinational effort as well.

Their is increasing pressure, including from the United Arab Emirates, to redesignate the Houthi militants of Yemen, Ansarallah a Foreign Terrorist Organization. President Trump, in his final days in office, designated the Houthis a Foreign Terrorist Organization but the Biden revoked that label of them during the first weeks of their Administration.

Meanwhile a Norwegian tanker reported a near miss from another drone, and a Gabon/Indian ship was struck with yet another drone, though no injuries reported. Article on Irans Support for Hamas Especially In Regards to the October 7th Attacks.

The JC said:
The IRGC has long been preparing for a major confrontation with Israel. In 2021, for example, it established a joint war room in Lebanon that brought Hezbollah and Hamas under one roof to better coordinate attacks on Israel. In 2023 the IRGC also significantly increased funding for Hamas from an average of $100 million annually to $350 million.

On 25 October the Wall Street Journal cited intelligence revealing 500 Hamas terrorists received specialised IRGC training prior inside Iran in September. This is consistent with changes made to the IRGC's doctrine, structures and personnel in the past months and years – all of which signaled the IRGC was moving towards a major regional confrontation.

Well, the UN is going the way of the old League of Nations. shrug Israel just laughing in their faces and not abiding by any "resolutions" they pass may just be the first domino in pissing on the UN's "legitimacy".

In this case, Israel is simply responding to UN personnel on the ground blatantly siding with Hamas and collaborating in the attacks. It's a practical response to individual perfidy, not an ideological disagreement with the theoretical legitimacy of the UN as a whole.
