General Gaming Thread

Apparently Mick Gordon can't stop winning and the Doom soundtrack has inspired a whole metal subgenre:

Well now, this is interesting. Cover Corp., the parent company of VTuber groups Hololive and Holostars, just announced their new "Derivative Work Game Guideline” and the establishment of holo Indie”, an official game brand for fan-made games.

The TL;DR is that Cover Corp is encouraging fans to make fan games based on their IP by with this new guideline by providing support for fan creators to monetize their fan games. The announcement has a link to the Steam page and the first fan game released under holo Indie, Holo Parade

Ok, so finished Phantom Liberty, and
I sent So Mi to the moon, literally, then tried a few alternates, like becoming a N.U.S. federal employee steippes of implants thanks to Bro Idris Elba.
.

I went opposite...

I WAS going to send her to the moon, did the whole thing and then she went and told me how she fucked me over... I decided I would be having none of that and handed her right over to Sol.

Did the same with saves.
Including the route where you betray her from the get-go and Sol's friend dies.

hololive continues to be the most based japanese company.

Honestly this I'd the first time I've seen a JP corpo be this supportive of fan developers (before anyone mentions him. no, ZUN and Touhou don't count, ZUN is only a single dude).

Neat video on how to make radio chatter sound more realistic in video games (and presumably other media).

It's neat because it doesn't actually deal with the content or things said, just the tone and delivery and how to make the voice acting better.

Also congratulations to some random game called Squadron 42 getting the free press.

I have somewhat of issues trusting anything he says. From the looks of his Twitter, reddit and Instagram he loves attention, on the level of some grifters.
Also, I do recall him being excessively rosy on the Biden admin.

Ever feel like rebelling against the british? feel like red coats should be redder consider this

not on steam yet but still looks cool. unfortunately we can't throw tea in the harbor. very sad.

I guess they will add a british campaign too so you might try and be a brutal oppressor and forcibly impose the tea taxes and steal from the americans.
