The biggest problem with the UN position to this is that it creates meme Balkan style Gordian knots if upheld strictly. Namely, populations of people who despise each other and have zero intention to stop, for whatever reason and justification, having to share close proximity of each other. It doesn't take an expert to predict what will happen. There's going to be misery, there's going to be strife, there is going to be social dysfunction, there could be actual, proper genocidal attempts, and it's going to continue, years, for decades, even centuries, until one of the groups gets made to go away, one way or another. However inhumane it is to force masses of people to go somewhere else, is sentencing both groups to such a life indefinitely supposed to be the humane option? I don't think so. Better rip the bandage off and let both groups build themselves societies not constructed around constant fighting with their worst enemies or the prospect of it reigniting at any moment for any reason.That is technically genocide according to the UN anyways

Seems to me like we are missing some backstory. From what little i know of these guys they are some hard Israeli right...
And lemme tell you, there are reasons why those are not huge fans of Europe in generality, and not for some conspiracy theory stuff... but for broadly the same kind of shit why European countries have highly emotional spats over migration issues between each other. As to civility and humanity, well, you have probably seen a lot of videos of Israelis pissing on Palestinian corpses and Israeli soldiers beheaded and raped by Palestinians.
The only long term fix for such places is for an external power to bomb the shit out of both, draw some borders, force some population transfers and clear demarcation of territory with both sides being forced to play nice and drop claims to the other's sacred cows.
