NPC is more than saying “stupid” or “brainless”
It’s basically saying your not a sapient living being with a soul(however defined), your not human-your a simulacrum of a person who regurgitates pre programmed sentences and can only respond in pre set ways to any stimuli.
For anyone who is aware of the origin of the term-it’s a very strong insult.

Man, the impeachment thread over on sb is completely insane.
Bunch of people claiming America is a failed state and a dictatorship because there was a utterly pathetic case for impeachment and trump isn't getting removed from office.
Democracy being dead because the results of a election weren't overturned is certainly a interesting take on the issue.

That's because they're all bigots, for the most part; willfully ignorant ones at that. Most of them probably have no idea what Trump was actually being accused of in the impeachment trial, or what "evidence" (or lack thereof) was being presented; all they know is that they hate Trump (as well as everyone associated with/supporting of him), because some fearmongering media outlet like MSNBC told them they should.
We are basically watching in real time what the Nazis turned the German population at large into, with all their insane propaganda about how the Jews, and other undesirables, were to blame for everything that was wrong in their lives; except this time, it's not Jews, but rather Republicans.
Well republicans, libertarians independents, other liberals, essentially any one who isn't 'woke' enough.
Its a very self destructive world view expecially in a two party system, because they create the coalition that will defeat them.

But speaking of that-it did make me wonder.
Could impeachment be used in such a way? Basically a legal coup? Where you don't like the president and hold the senate, convict, then convict his(or her) vice president, until your guy(or gal) is in charge?
If things ever reach the above scenario-then it would show the US political system had been irreparably broken, that something as serious as impeachment be degraded to simply getting rid of your opponent within the law.
But speaking of that-it did make me wonder.

I take it as an empty threat. I don't think that would seriously pass even a dominating House in 2020. I could be wrong though. I think Biden has more problems. This is literally what the Democrats tried to do. That they tried at all showed how damaged things have become, and has damaged things further.
If they don't pay a heavy price for it, that'll damage things even further.
It's kinda funny really, he has free ammunition in the form of Veritas outing how most of Sanders's campaign people are out and out communists and because his people don't like Veritas he can't use it.

Well, first they would have claimed he should step down on some fabricated ethical grounds, then when he refused to do so, they would have fabricated charges against him like they did against Trump.
At which point we might have actually had a civil war, as a looooot of people refused to accept the Democrats nullifying the results of an election without any actual legal grounds.
Given Burisma and Hunter, there can be said to be a legit case, or at least more legit than what they are going after Trump for.
But I wished they hadn't done that unless he ended up the Dem nominee.
