Avoid the 1917 Bolshevik coup in Russia? Without it, Russian male life expectancy should continue increasing past the 1960s and reach developed country levels by the end of the 20th century. He could live for an extra several years or more in this TL.

Depends on who replaces Lenin and his gang, I think.

Sure, it's hard to misrule as badly as the Bolsheviks did, but avoiding them means lots of butterflies flying out in all directions, which a young Brezhnev will inevitably be swept up in. For all we know, he could get killed in ATL Russian Civil War instead, and that totally misses the point of my scenario.

1.Nightmare scenario-
Soviets somehow survive till Clinton,which made deal with them like all good democrats,and deliver technologies and money.
Soviets wait for Obama,conqer UE, wait for Biden,conqer USA.
Unhappy end.
2.Normal scenario - survived and made deal with UE,creating one socialist country.
3.Optymistic scenario - soviets fall after his death,nothing changed.

Soviets still go down in flames in the early 1990s though.

In the early 1920s, Germany and Russia were the two main pariahs of Europe. In the early 2020s, Russia is once again the main pariah of Europe while Germany is a reluctant leader of a unified anti-Russian bloc in Europe.

Yeah, in Polish the word order is reversed.
BTW - I once saw a thread titled "Luke saves us from the EU" - I immediatelly pounced on it, expecting some sort of ISOT into XXth century Europe and Young Skywalker a champion of libertarianism.
Nope.
There the EU stood for Extended Universe :D a term I was not familiar with at that time.

The libertarian antidote to a united Europe (open borders, no social safety net, et cetera) might be worse than the idea of a united Europe itself! ;)

But also to have this be done in a more compassionate manner than what Joseph Stalin did in real life. I suppose that something like this is what I have in mind here:

Incas did that,too.And Babylonians and Assyrians.1o lost Izrael tribes was relocated to current Iraq,and their descendents still live there - as very good muslims.

All those not called Benjamin or Juda (or Levi).
See, after Solomon the Wifestealer the Hebrews split in two countries hating one another with the fervor of cultists - Judea and Izrael. The first was established by two tribes, and the latter by the remaining ten.
A few generations later Assyria showed up - "gib clay!" - Izrael was smashed and its political elite killed or deported to Mesopotamia. Izrael never recovered - to the point of the Judeans - i.e. Jews - nicking the term for themselves - even though tr00 Izraelis survived (barely) to this day under the Samaritans label.
Hence the fairly tale of the Missing Tribes.

That.But - you forget those who become pagans,and now are good muslims in Iraq or palestine - palestinians partially are old Izraelites/mixed with arabs,of course/
And mythical lost tribes was supposed to end in Africa/black jews from Ethiopia claim that/ or America,as mormons belive.It is all fairy tales,of course.

I thought that the Ottoman Empire was fairly secular? They didn't criminalize private homosexual acts, after all.

That they wound up anywhere outside the Assyrian Empire is what you call fairy tales, though "fairy tales" implies benignity that isn't present here. That they were lost is historical. They existed as identifiable tribes, then they didn't. The records required to identify them were destroyed and a significant segment of the population was relocated to at least one unknown place under Assyrian control and replaced with people from other Assyrian conquests. Because the Assyrians did that to everyone.
