We let things get so bad that not only were subversive elements permitted to incite riots where our so-called leaders ordered police to stand down, and the police actually did it, but when a citizen tried to do something about it the state threw a shit-fit, put a two million dollar bail on him, tried to imprison him for life, all the while refusing to charge the surviving felon attacker.
After the trial, the same subversive elements threw another tantrum about "white privilege", backed up by a sea of 'blue checkmarks' on social media bemoaning how awful it was that a white male was permitted to defend himself.
The outcome? An attack in a way that cannot be defended against with something as simple as a firearm, aimed at defenseless children in a time of communal celebration.
