Ye Are Gods (Sign-up and OOC)

I'm talking about heroes right now, getting a bunch together to do an adventure. I've got an idea I'm working through for a more traditional RPG within the framework of the larger god Roleplay with chosen heroes embarking on a quest. No gods, no avatars, but you can create or send heroes in to go on a quest.

Sounds like a perfect fit for Joaquin or Thomas. Would you prefer a dashing gentleman treasure hunter who fights like an absolute heel or an exceedingly miserable and surprisingly skilled Kobold rogue who looks like a large house cat?

Whichever you would prefer, or both if you want.

Hero(es): Teratru
Rank/Reason: First Shock Trooper, he is a hero for being the first Titan in the Collective. Standing at thirty feet, he served in the wars of Ashariel when the gods warred.
Personality: A quiet and slow individual. He thinks very fast though but his words can’t catch up to it. But he holds an immense amount of power for being the first titanic myconid.

An argonaut from the Collective.

I think Aristo is going on a subplot with ⚕⚕⚕'s heroes, but I have a candidate.

Alexius- Inventor extraordinaire; good with crossbows, ships, traps, and anything that needs to be blown up.

So with the heroes quest I will be GMing it more traditionally, in the sense I will control NPCs and set out much of the plot. That does not mean you are unable to interact though. While Avatars and gods are not a part of the party, you are more than welcome to interact with both boons and obstacles or hindrances you wish to throw the heroes way. With that in mind stick to things like "I send a storm there way" not "I destroy the entire ship and they all drown lol."

As far as characters go there are few limits. You can send one hero, two heroes, three heroes, you can send a hero and group of bodyguards or a crew, you can send a ship and a crew for that with a captain, or no heroes at all and a crew of mooks, and perhaps a hero emerges among them, or doesn't. As long as you arent sending an entire army or fleet, you are allowed to do what you please. While I wait to put it in the IC if you want to begin submitting heroes/a crew/a ship to add to it feel free to start now in the OOC.

How much do the gods know about the operation of Km, the god killing dagger? Do they know that you have to believe you will be killed by it in order for it to work?

The idea that there has to be an intent to kill and that you have to believe you can be killed was a condition for a God to die the first time(Along with a tool overpowered enough to do it). After a God did die, that's no longer relevant now- you 'just' need something with enough power to kill a God outright(such as the dagger).

The very existence of a 'Dead God' means that other Gods can die, its already happened before after all so bets are off. Amenti is an 'Image of Death' for the Gods- a permanent scar on the world and the Gods perfection.

So all you need now is the dagger(wherever it is) or a comparable tool and then get your stab on.

Did Amenti ever tell anyone why she made the dagger?
