After listening to the whole video I like it. Direct and on to the point of us common folk's basic desires and woes. Your cough makes it more natural and you have the music to enhance it especially at the end which is what I'm sure many would want to say to upper class gated folk when they preach empty words.

There must be plenty more video responses to the celebrity song that speaks the common language and more talented at editing sound.

It's a maritime job. We have a Safety Office that manages PPE from the top down and certifies and issues it, and they get very angry if people bring their own PPE to work. Correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t most of the Left very much dislike the US Armed Forces or at least see them as unfortunate tools of the USA’s Right Wing? If so, I can see “resistance” or smears occurring

the main concern is the possible lingering effects, some studies have suggested there are some, and the data from China is completely worthless.

And tell the health insurance industry that attempting to play games with non-payment will see their charters revoked and them making an enemy of the federal government.

By act of Congress, suspend all late fees and interest accrual for Credit Cards for the duration.

Those are the kinds of things that Congress should be doing if they really want to ameliorate the economic costs of self isolation.

The problem is most of those solutions would shatter the economy, which would be even worse than the disease.
 
Human life isn't 'priceless'. Economics have real world impacts too.

Just like with flu and everything else we're eventually going to have to reach a point where we're content to take the hit each year and get on with life. With normal seasonal flu it's between 290,000 and 640,000 per year.

Sooner we get past this initial phase and can head into treating it just like other background diseases the better.
 
We are missing the one piece of information to confirm if the panic is warranted yet:
current wuflu hospitalizations

That is where the big scary number is supposed to be.

to be fair most left wingers who join and survive their first contract exit the military less extreme then when they got in and usefully with some useful skills. The military for all of its buracratic faults does a great job teaching people that they are not the center of the universe.
