Maybe, but how long do the symptoms last before either recovery or mortality, and what are the actual recovery vs mortality rates? They still don’t know a lot about this virus other than it may already be mutating, and its spreading fast. That plus I’m getting the impression the Chinese government aren’t saying all they know about what’s going on (what a surprise).
China’s had outbreaks before but unless I’m misinformed, I’ve never heard of them locking down entire damn cities in recent memory, not to mention the Premier himself already stated officially the country is facing a national emergency, the official line is typically “everything is under control”.
