Who else dreads this year?

Dude, his face is tired, he needs some Cetaphyl
I'm being quite serious too. They admitted they lost money and said it was worth it.

But I must digress it happens. Businesses can lose money over an investment decision. They chose the wrong decision and so money was lost.

One talk on the internet was the way of one entrepreneur who started a taxi service business but got fucked by the times when uber just stared. Just like that.

So what Gilette lost is chump change?

You got one example, of a company losing money after a failed advertising campaign, which does not a blue haired corporation executive conspiracy to modify culture to fit with their social justice aims regardless of profits make

That's too sci fi. You need to keep it more realistic for the cynical war to accumulate a big bodycount.
It's a future history setting... like Battletech before reality decided to make science march on... and the 'present' of the setting is 2440 AD...

Now that I disagree not entirely. It's not the conspiracy but their business decision.

Usually I assume the people at the top are interested in money so they follow where the money supposedly goes which includes faking the culture which currently is social justice so cases of hypocrisy come out but that's business as usual.

But as new employees get recruited that's when the environment slowly changes as eventually one of them ascend to the top. They have different ideas on how to run a business and maybe it works or they fail. The way of succesors who may extend the company or cause it to die faster.

It's how it goes really. You make a business that goes big and keeps growing and growing until it hits critical mass to die. Just a matter of when.

I'm not too familiar with you work so I'm quite ignorant.

Anyone checked out the Democrat Debates?

It was confusing why one of them started speaking in Spanish.

Because it may one day become the majority language of your nation?
Nah, it's not going to. Second-generation Hispanics are perfectly willing to learn English, and their Spanish knowledge is declining. It would be declining faster if it wasn't for woke white people preaching Balkanization so they can be king of the ashes, but it is declining and English will rightfully continue to be America's language.

I thought it was supposed to be the other way when someone immigrates.

May depend on whom you’re more likely to stay around

I think culture or how you live your life in a new country maintains with old or similar conditions or sets of people transferring alongside you

Give it time and right push and pull factors and eventually even the most dedicated religious fundamentalist-culture types will bend and start dealing in or with stuff they consider “immoral” like food that just so happens to have some pig DNA as an ingredient whilst maybe being pissed or annoyed that the kids are into the stuff the locals like

Under the circumstances I doubt it. English has been spread around so much that it's a global language to conveniently use.

The man who spoke Spanish out of nowhere felt more like pandering.

His Spanish from what people say on the internet wasn't even that fluent.

I hope not. Either speak the language of your new country or go back to whereever you came, but don't drag your culture here.

Eh...

I agree that people should try and learn the language of wherever they are living, and they should absolutely try and assimilate, but I'm kinda fine with people having a distinct culture or distinct cultural differences.

Yeah, I think Multiculturalism could work, just you have to make sure to remember something along the lines of “Do what floats your boat, but as much as possible don’t rock mine while at it.”

Plus, culture is more than Aesthetics, Art, Celebrations and Food. It can include some of the worst and cruelest “accepted” social values known to man.

Also, let a guy run his pig farm and pig races, if you knew the area you’d be buying was already near it then you shouldn’t complain too much
