Kinda noticed this when he started shitting on Metal Gear Solid series, and how bad it is.

I mean, it clearly has a very dedicated fanbase quite fond of the particular and unique style these games have, and all the thing he's criticizing is what made the games so appealing to the fans in the first place. It's found it's niche, exploited it, why in the heck is an ancap of all things having a problem with this?

Part of it is likely him playing up to his reputation as an abrasive internet personality; but honestly, I think a larger part is just due to him mistaking his own personal opinion for objective fact. Which, to be fair, is rather common on the internet.
