Who else dreads this year?

So, to make a point through this and...I dunnow, perhaps use as an example for folks?
When 'rape culture' is referenced? This is one of the general sphere of items being referred to--that, even by people who accept it happened (or at least claim too) 'he's still too important' to be held to account. In this case it just gets there by way of the presidential election and 'government official' rather than him being a corporate big-wig or a famous sportsplayer or what-have-you.

And, of course, on a more personal level, reflecting these folks being absolute ghouls--which is somewhat 'meh' in the case of most since they're random twitter yabos and nobody should much care but....Lisa Bloom is both famous and famous for representing women in these exact kinds of cases.
It's...beyond being twitter stupid and up there as 'You should not be representing these people, you have an attitude actively harmful to them'.

Edit: Hwoooly moly...It's not the first time something like this has come up either.
The woman is a grifting garbage-pile of a person.

Practically the only person coming out of this debacle without burying their face in crap-cake seems to be Rose McGowan.
This will make the babylon bee indistuingushable from reality.

The special election in CA-25 shows the Republican candidate several points ahead of the Democrat, and I have a reason why!
Consider this live update from an NYT reporter:
Tracking data shows a significant voting gap along generational lines. Roughly 56% of voters 65 and older returned a mail ballot. Just 19% of those younger than 35 did so.
Looks like the boomers were more willing to fill out their mail-in ballots than even millennials. Same non-existent youth support for Bernie that failed to be there when it counted.

It was Cenk Uygur that did it. The Dems shot themselves in the foot by letting a hypocrite (the whole TYT union drama) who once suggested legalizing bestiality run as an option on their ballot. No amount of shady tactic would work in a district where a man like that tainted the party's name. He will be immortalized in Republican attack ads as "the real face of the Democratic party" for months until November if campaign strategists are wise. It's also currently an 18000-vote gap, how many unmarked ballots can you feasibly haul in?

Dame Pesos will get another laugh out of it.

Man, our sister sites are going to meltdown in a few months. :ROFLMAO:
Could be interesting to see the fallout from that.

I have to say I like your attitude better than those who act like all is lost, because the Democrats have an absolutely invincible vote fraud machine, don'tcha know. (God, these people are irritating; they dismiss Trump winning in 2016 as simply a matter of the Democrats not cheating enough, and claimed that the recent special elections results merely told the Dems how much more they need to cheat in November.) Suffice to say, I roll my eyes at that.

Thing is, cheating will only get you so far; and if it's all you have, it's not going to be enough to win. Also it kinda requires that your opponent is not aware ahead of time that you're going to be cheating, in order to be fully effective.

Well, if cheating fails, there’s always stuff like military coups

If the armed forces won’t side with the Democrats, they can threaten them financially and target their families somehow and arm the more crazy marching guys and expect em to fight for them

Pointing that out leads to assertions that the GOP leadership (sans Trump) is absolutely terrified of having mean things said about them and folds at the slightest sign of mean things being said. And stuff about how the GOP on the whole doesn't actually want to be in charge, because then things are expected of them. It's just as tiresome as it sounds.

If it comes down to a civil war all the conservatives have to do is go to the military and say these words.

"I will give you custody of your children."

A whole lot of people in the milatary are divorced, lost their kids and get reemed in family court and this has been true for decades so if some one offers them a chance to have their children back or continue to be fucked over by the system...well thats a pretty tempting offer.

Wow, never expected an offer like that

What do courts have against military men? Do they have PTSD or heightened aggression or even a sense of danger? Or they've been away from their family too long

The family courts have been absolute dog shit to men since the 80s, military men just experience it more because they get preyed upon by preditory women and pretty much every soliger who's served knows at least one horor story.
