So, what would be your reaction to The Big One hitting?

I live inland and my house is on wheels it would take a couple days to get water and electricity back.

but if the big one happens that fucks over the entire west coast bad, Seatle would be demolished because they would be hit too and their buildings are not up to code, much of oregon would be fucked too, and the Tsunami would hit Hawaii and the far east a whole lot of people would die.

In its after math the tech industry and the entertainment industry flee, Californias economy completely collapses and the political class that rules it will be obliterated. In the after math however we can plead act of god and either declare bankruptcy or get a federal bail out. The rebuilding would then take place the kind of excesses in politics that make california the mess it is will not be tolerated for at least a time.

For the rest of the country this means were taken out of the political picture for at least a decade.

I have no idea how to read this shit...
Basically, if something is 2.0 and you put £1.00 on it, you're gambling your £1.00 to make £1.00 in return, so if your bet wins, you receive £2.00 (winnings plus original stake).

2.50? £2.50 from £1.00.

£10.00 at 6.4? £64.00, with £10.00 of that £64.00 being your original stake/risk.

I always use decimal odds (not the same as ordinary mathematical decimal points) than fraction or "American" odds.

So it's a multiplier, fine.

Why are there 6 columns of this?

To show prior odds, as well as placing your bet down on those odds in case either the current odds shift up or down, or if one of the traders using the exchange (you're betting against other people here, not the sportsbook -- the company takes a % as commission as their cut) takes your bet offer.

Come to think of it, can we get that Cumbre Vieja mega-tsunami on the East Coast too? I'd be happy with either, tbh
I recall reading that the use of ground water for irrigation on Gran Canaria has reduced pressure on Cumbre Vieja(the main culprit for the landslides supposedly is groundwater being turned into steam by the volcano, and this stream pressuring and fracturing the mountainsides). I don't know if it's true or merely just a hypothesis, but it makes sense.

lmao. Some “coincidence”. This couldn’t be more blatantly obvious. Evidently something big is being planned.

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
This is the year we live in. 2020 where Borat the character is more sensible than the other dancing monkeys.
