In this scenario during the Apollo 11 mission. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin discover a strange looking rock on the moon's surface. After they return Earth with the Rock it is later discovered. The Rock is actually a Room Temperature Superconductor. And based on following missions. Thousands of these rocks liter the moons surface. The US for the first 3 years manage to keep the discovery under wraps. But the news eventually gets out and the Soviets go full bore into their own moon mission to stake a claim to parts of the moon. How does the rest of the Cold War play out in space? What other countries might try and launch a Moon mission of their own?

Soviets would fall to economy anyway,USA would keep sending people to Moon and built base, others - Japan and India maybe could do that,EU - certainly not,China - certainly they would go there.

But,almost all would be delivered by USA,so we would have much stronger USA.Feat not - Clinton,Obama and Biden would still manage to fuck it!
