Hopefully this is a prelude to a criminal investigation in the financial mess Disney is in, allegedly because they gave money to that guy whose name rhymes with Bankrupt Fraud.

I suspect the Koreans haven't forgotten The Little Mermaid was originally a story written by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen in 1837, is considered a cultural icon and wasn't a story about idiotic racial identity politics. Racist my ass.

Because he was set up to be the fall guy. Iger knew what was coming and bounced. He left the Company to Chapek and gave him a near impossible task to fix it, with a near hostile board and facing a palace coup from within for the queer agenda. And despite all that Chapek was actually starting to make some headway.

The going theory is that Disney got caught up in the FTX scandal and McCarthy was cooking the books to cover the losses. Chapek got wise to something amiss and was going to audit the company finances and bring in a 3rd party to do it. Notice the timing of Chapeks outing. It's about a week after the scandal breaks. So McCarthy panics and reaches out to Iger and members of the board behind his back and gets him ousted. All in order to keep the scandal quiet.

Or so the theory goes.

Yeah, well, I doubt that his fall guy strategy will actually play out well in court.

Such a lawsuit is guaranteed to dreg out lots and lots of dirty laundry, particularly Igor's.

Depending on if they did burn her or not? She may unload everything she knows.
 



And now further news. Disney's "Chief Diversity Officer" Latondra Newton who came on in 2017 and oversaw a ridiculous number of race swaps, political correctness, "diversity changes", changes to rides in the name of "diversity", etc. etc. has "departed". Or as the news was announced at 9:30 at night by the HR office with no farewell note, was likely booted.
