Why not though? You can do both. Divine right of kings is thing after all.
Was a thing. As a model of government, it's been road-tested a bit and found somewhat wanting.

Yes,but they need put 10% of population in their own gulags then.Tyrants and bad kings could rule without that, becouse they do not interfere with normal people lives, like commies did.Why not though? You can do both. Divine right of kings is thing after all.

If you were peasant in bad king country,as long as you pay taxes and no start uprisings nobody bothered you.Peasant in commie country go to gulag, kolchoz or massgrave.
True - because a medieval king might be a corrupt old crook, or an inbred idiot, but he would seldom be an ideologue hellbent on forcing the entire population into some new mode of society someone had dreamed up.
Ok your argument of Lucifer solves the problem of evil, but it also turns you into a pagan polytheist. IfLucifer is cause of evil and God hasn’t ended all evil because he is busy fighting the devil You believe in two gods Yahweh/Jesus who is god of good, and Satan who is the god of evil you basically redid ZoroastrianAnd lucyper is easy to explain - he is loose, and he want us to be loosers, too.Very human attitude,i could undarstandt him.

Then you’ve still got the problem of evil God made Satan and let’s him run around even though he could stop him whenever he wants it’s highly irresponsible at best, malicious at worst. As for Zoroastrians yes that’s what the beloved they believe that there are two primordial uncreated beings god and Satan God created the world and is all good but the devil did not like that so has been trying to corrupt creation ever since. Now when it’s time for the final judgment the Zoroastrian believed that God and good will triamph over evil and Satan but well God and Satan here are close in power Satan is gods peer he is not a created being in rebellion like a spoilt child. This does remove the problem of evil because a powerful all knowing god who is all good did not create the source of all evil.Satan being allowed to run loose for a time before God steps in and removes him isn't the same thing at all as Satan being some sort of equal-but-opposite power to God. I'm not sure that even the Zoroastrians really believed that.
That applies to human actions like if I kill rape or rob you. But if you get a tornado hitting your house or you catch the commie cough unless god sent the plague that doesn’t apply because those evils aren’t from choices.Ok, as somebody who's not an expert, or even religous, the answer I heard was "Free Will".
To have free will, you have to be able to choose. And, the moment God steps in and fixes things, you can't.
That's all I've got. Like I said, no expert.
Evil is used as a short for bad stuff. The problem of evil can also be called “Why does god let bad things happen?”Also, Satan is NOT the source of evil. Satan is temptation away from God. EVIL comes from our exercise of Free Will in acting against God.

Ever had to deal with people who grew up in complete safety and never had to experience any hardship at all, but always had whatever they wanted handed to them on a platter?
Yeah I do they run frisco.
